Reselling prescription medicine

Pardon if this doesn't belong here. My question is something that I've wondered about for some time.

Say I got prescription for something that I don't need, but someone else could benefit from buying. (NOT narcotics, pain killers or opiods!!)
This is obviously not legal, but is it possible that LE could track that medication back to me? Which markers on the box and / or medication can lead back to me? (except for the rx tag with my name on it, obviously).

Dont the keep it in the box, I'm assuming there's serial numbers linked to the patient from the oharmacy

Hmmm... Perhaps bag the pills outside of any box or bottle with your name on it.

Unless LE infused each pill with your information. And the moment your friend swallows it, it will signal LE to go directly to your house and arrest you.

It's not pills and it's not possible to take the actual content out of the original storage unit. Yeah, the original card box can be disposed of, but that still leaves me with potential identification markers on the storage unit itself. I guess I could just use a permanent marker to conceal any serial number, bar code etc...

If it's Suboxone strips, as far as I know it's simply paranoia that started that rumor about unique serial numbers. If you look at the numbers, think about the amount being produced, think a bit more, you'll realize that the number string is not nearly long enough, simply another lot number including plant, batch, time, and likely an employee number? Maybe a QA employee number.

If not forget what I said, I don't even know what that item is, just found it on Google.

In the US bottle comes with name no? Just remove it.

Easier here in Europe, i have metformin and blood pressure pills without recipe, no link to my national health system card.

In Europe at least, bar codes on the box relate only to the product, there are no s/n that could be linked to the patient, the GDPR strictly forbids any such tracking and in no way can the police gain access to medical records.
