I find jasmine rice SO much easier to eat and much more tasty

What rice do you prefer?

i really enjoy the sticky rice and can eat 3x the amount of other rice.

Personally I have recently found I vastly prefer basmati rice! I grew up on jasmine rice, but over the last couple months I have found basmati to be easier to cook, tastier, have a better texture, and if you add a little extra water and overcook it just a tad you end up with really delicious "sticky rice!"

Fore sure I am a basmati man from now til forevermore!

I honestly I will go to the thai store and get sticky rice and a really good chili paste. Rice and spice baby
Its going to be mane eating carbs sooooo much easier. I just ate 16 oz of plain white jasmine rice last night.

can you confirm if thats 127 grams of carbs? Seems a bit high.

I found freedom with this serendipity... I was fuckin sick of eating 100g of raw rice that weighted cooked 400g or 500g with some sauce... those rice meals ruined my fuckin days... and it sucked taken out of fridge so I couldn’t make rice meals for more than 1 day at time... I found this thing and I couldn’t be more happy...

I take something like 1kg of Raw Basmati Rice... I let it soaking into water (after I washed it) for 24h... then i took out some water with a strainer and I put in oven for 30 mins at 110 C to let it dry... then I put it on a blender and make kind of rice flour...

If I planned to eat 100g of raw rice I take 100g of my new flour... take a baking tray.. I put into it some water (something like 80% of the rice weight) and I then slowly cover homogeneously the water with my rice flour, to have a big and thin square... I ll let it cook at 220C for 6/7 minutes (something more, I can even rotate the tray of 180 degrees into oven during cooking) and I have that stuff... I eat it with some soya sauce, 0 kcals chocolate, some olive oil and sea salt, and so on... it digested well in the last 2 months and I don’t end up fuckin bloated like when I used to eat cooked fuckin rice...

How many grams of carbs was 400 grams cooked rice?

is that crunchy?

It depends on the cooking time and other stuff... I took 100g of raw basmati, and after cooking and added some sauce it did weight 400g ... sometimes it weights 300g without sauces... another kind of rice I cooked , after adding some sauce, went from 100g raw to 500g cooked... but even perfectly cooked basmati , when I took it out of the fridge next day or day next was shitty...

That cooked rice flour is crunchy of course... you can play with temps and time in oven to get the perfect result... maybe you can do 6 minutes at 200 C and then 7 minutes at 140 C ... 100g of raw rice (flourized) after cookin in the oven has pretty much the same weight...so you have less less stuff in your stomach... for me , it has been a game changer.. you can eat it sweetened or salted

Well i get the uncle bens packs and its 240g= 87g c. So by that you would be a little low but uncle bens has more carbs idk why. Its either a inaccuracy or because the rice is more fresh. The most accurate way would be to weigh pre cook then weigh post cook. Then average pre cook carbs over the post cook weight. If that makes sense. Haha im just sitting here on the toilet at work trying to do math in my head. Lmk if that makes sense

I didn't tried basmati these days but I'm having brown rice since if I try white one, I get hypo because of my reactive hypoglycemia

I would then add some fats with the rice to slow a little digestion... I used to eat some Basmati rice with some Parmesan cheese mixed in cream... I just noticed that maybe English doesn’t have a word for “mixing in a fatty cream” ... in Italy we say “Mantecare il Parmigiano, porco dio”

OT: Don't worry che porco dio dal mattino to evening

Already tried with fats but they weren't enough, especially after breakfast. For breakfast I had, in the past, rice cakes with egg whites and 2-3 yolks and they weren't enough to slow my digestion. Now eating simple oats with fat free milk, plus greek yogurt and I'm fine.

“dal mattino to evening” ahahaha

anyway, I remember last year I had the same issue while on tren... this year I changed lot of things even tren dosage, maybe because of those changes I don’t have that reactive hypo anymore..

or better... every once in a while I still have reactive hypo , just came to mind... fan fact, in the past I used 3 kinds of insulin and didn’t have any problem with hypo...

Very fan fact... the only time I got fuckin sick because of Bodybuilding stuff was while I was natty years ago... I stayed on a stupid fatless diet for too long and I crashed my endo test levels... and I screwed my life for maybe 6 months...

@Ferenor try my basmati rice flour crackers with some avocado cream made by mashing some avocado with some water salt and lemon... add some salt in the end , and if you wanna be very Italian badass let sprinkle some Parmigiano on it... fuckin tasty... never tried , I just wondered it but I rely on my boundless talent as a cook (or as a cock) .. every then and now Carlo Crack’o or Gordon Ramsay phone me and ask new recipes hints... my guys.. I love them... everytime I suggest Gordon new blasphemies.. he made fuckin proud the day he told to an Italian guy in an American show “Savatowre!! It’s panna cotta!! Fuckin Porco Dio”

Going to try it since it looks amazing ;)

To clarify the nutrition facts will tell you the amount for uncooked rice but with all the water it takes in you cant go by that obviously. So you need an absolute quantity to go off of uncooked since its nearly impossible to tell how much water the rice will absorb so you can figure out by weight actual amount of carbs cooked

Beat me cmon... my basmati rice flour bread with melted sheep milk cheese and some salt on it... cmon, let’s speak about your shitty cooked 400g of rice... those in the pic are 100g of pure basmati rice flour... 80g of carbs... I just ate it and feel light , fresh and clean...

“Once I started eating rice cakes, I cant stop bake” My slogan in my TV advertisers.. you all will buy my fuckin Rice Cakes... rice cakes are good, are cheap, are fast, and are light. With “FROZEN BOMBER RICE CAKES, YOU LL RUN WITHOUT BRAKES”

I truly deserve to be a millionaire, fuck... I need hot bitches and supercars...

cmon @purplepandalabs invest in the future of nutrition... Italian stallion never joke
