Carb sources with insulin

When you guys are pushing higher carbs coupled with insulin what are your go to sources? I can only eat so much rice. Would incorporating orange juice be a viable option?

intraworkout? dextrose, maltodextrin, gatorade, hbcd

other times?
rice, potatoes, pasta, bagels and small amounts of fruit like banana, pineapple and apples. I limit my fructose intake so i stick to the former.

OJ is good but typically looking for more glucose equivalents (eg, starch) than fructose (eg, sugar & fruit)

Rice, potatoes, oatmeal, beans & legumes, pasta, whatever you prefer and tolerate (wrt gut issues, digestion, etc.)

I like bee vomit.

I mostly stick to simple carbs like rice, oats, cream of rice, or bread/bagels. I’ll use OJ here and there, usually around training since it’s just quick sugar and not the best main source. Most of my carbs are from solid foods, but I’ll toss in some juice, honey, marshmallows, or other fast carbs when I need a fast hit

On lifting days, I just make a protein shake with 60g of dextrose, unflavored protein and some MCT oil because while I do need fast acting carb for energy, I dont want to spike my blood sugar so much, and caprylic acid is a fast acting lipid energy source. On resting days, I eat oat and rice throughout the day in sparse amount.
