Well, you see some of us aren't rich docors...oh, excuse me, I meant rich wannabe but not quite doctors ...and we have 8 year old machines that don't have acrobat. And, since dial up is slow as fuck, we don't feel like spending an hour downloadind some stupid program to spend 3 minutes glossing over a long, boring document.
