I am 25 years old, 5'11 and weigh between 195 and 200 pounds, I am not in great shape but not a complete fat ass supprisingly lol.
between 17-18 I started feeling more off/not self by 19 I started suspecting I had Low T,sex drive was pretty diminished, facial hair was lagging:couldn't grow out side burns, mustache or even a goatee....anything would of been good for me lol. Oh another big deal some EQ/ED issues, anyway it wasn't until a few days after turning 25 did I finally get my Levels checked.

At this point he wrote me a script for t-cyp at 100 mg every two weeks, I have not gotten the prescription filled as I am pondering the benefits vs risks at this dose, I can only imagine that I would fill damn great after the shot, but what about the other week between shots? He was not interested in a twice a week protocol, did not think I would/will need a AI and does not believe I will be shut down so no need for a serm/HCG. I take this as a partial win in the sense that I was able to get something to help me but do not want to fuck my self up worse than I am cause I/he wont give me correct dosing or any other things to avoid unnessary issues.
I come from another forum so would like to have your guys advise on the matter, am I correct at being hessitent over this protocol or do I not need to worry about the other things I mentioned, will this just supplement my levels without suppression and for the AI, I got gyno from puberty so I can only guess that I am prone to getting it worse, don't need that shit as I already will not go shirtless.

If there is any questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them.

you need some T if it's 200 mg/ml you need to inject .25 to .30 ml twice a week...or 100 to 120 mg a week. I've been on TRT for over 10 years and have tried every type of form. Test cyp twice a week with nothing else has produced the best result...try to avoid AI if you can.

*Cortisol Free (1.18) 0.31 - 1.19 ug/dl 8:00 - 10:00 am

Your cortisol looks to be a bit on the high side. Did he mention that?

Thanks for swinging by my thread Hankzig, I agree I need some T haha, problem I am seeing right now is how he wrote the script I will only be able to get 1ml vial not the 10ml bottle....1 mL IM Q2WEEKS dispense/supply <3(three) mL> have two refills with it but would I not run into a issue with the pharmacy coming in three weeks early for another refill? and if not I would run into a problem with the doc when I went to get some more lol
I agree will avoid an AI if possible, but would rather be safe than sorry and at least have it on hand.

No, he did not mention anything. Like most docs if you are in range everything is ok.
Hell I should of had it checked a few years ago, Anxiety/stress was through the roof, much improved now compared to then.
I will see about getting it tested again some time down the road.

Anxiety and stress can be related to cortisol. Go to an endocrinologist and see what he says. Perhaps its nothing but why over look that?

Yea I agree, just have crap insurance and will be trying to get into a orthopedic guy first as I have been dealing with some back, shoulder and trap issues for a few years, but will ask the doc about getting Cortisol retested and go from there dependent on numbers. Hell he wanted to send me to a Endo for the trt deal, but I declined as most people on other forums say to avoid like the plague and figured he was more than capable of ordering the same test.

slight update.

I have finally managed to get an appointment with a Ortho in September.

I have not started TRT as of yet, couple reasons being how my doc wrote out the script, don't think it will be of much benefit to me, second reason being I would like to make as much use out of being back at normal levels and until I can figure out what the problem is with my upper body, don't want to just sit on my ass and not reap the physical benefit.

You're not making any sense. So you you would rather be in the low range of normal than in the high range of normal? 100mg/wk of cyp is not going to put you ito supraphysiological levels. Your ortho issues have less than anything to do with your tt levels. Do you work out or do cardio? Even though your cortisol level (one test result?) is on the high end of normal, it is not a red flag to an endo or even a gp.

IMO, start the trt, wait 8 weeks, see how you feel, get blood work and go from there. Might try the docs advice since I'm sure you at least had to pay a deductible.

At this point yes I would rather stay where I am at. The doc wrote it out for 100mg every two weeks, even if it was for 100 a week I would hold off until I can get my ortho issues addressed, as they prevent me from doing much of any physical activity, can't even rake my yard with out my arms burning out on me. No I do not currently work out or do much of any cardio, would like to get back to normal as working out was a big part of my life.

The cortisol level I wasn't overly concerned with, Brez was who suggested I seek out a Endo.

Does that make better sense?
