Use topical dutasteride if you want to prevent loss and 5-ar blocking orals scare you
i think ill just take orals, do you know any source for them?

PCT24 has Dutaheal, which is the only solid tab form of Dutasteride (instead of a gelcap). This will allow you split it and start at a very low dose. This way you can start slow and titrate the dose up over time, instead of going full dose (.5mg/day) and potentially crashing DHT levels causing sides.
For instance, start with 1/2 tab 2x a week for a couple of weeks. If all goes well increase to 3x a week, etc. If you feel anything like fatigue or ED, drop back to the previous dosing.
Also, consider getting 2.5mg tabs of Minoxidil. (1x day). Sides are unlikely from this (and usually temporary if they occur). May be slightly elevated heart rate or water retention, though very unlikely at this dose.
The combo of oral dutasteride and oral minoxidil are the most solid, clinically proven treatment to slow, stop, and reverse male pattern balding.
There's a "shedding phase" around a month after you start, that lasts a few weeks. This is not loss, It's a "reset" of the hair growth cycle, and better quality hairs will come in to replace the ones that drop.
You'll need to stay on this consistently for at least 6 months to "see" improved hair (hair grows slowly), so take pics to compare.
Improvement typically continues for 2-5 years before plateauing. Once you stop, you'll usually lose everything you gained within a year.

Did you try topical duta? If so, did it work as good as oral? I'm a bit afraid of a systemic effect, which is why I would prefer the topic application. Already tried ru58841 topical but didn't really get results unfortunately.

No, but clinical studies show it's effective.
I use oral, and despite being hypersensitive to Finasteride (.25mg/day is the most I can handle), once I realized the necessity to start off slowly, at a very very low dose, I was able to find the right amount of oral dutasteride that worked for me without sides. (.25mg / twice a week).
Some amount of topical still goes systemic, and I prefer having the precise control of oral, vs random amounts of a topical penetrating the scalp.

I did after 6 months of Finasteride. It's too early to tell how much more there will be from Dut. Likely some additional improvement in hair count, not a dramatic boost, but certainly better protection going forward.
If I knew then what I know now, would've gone with Dut to begin with.

yeah that dutastride is no joke i just upped my test and i still felt amazing but had skin and hair from when i was younger. fucking awesome. ru and all those sketchy topical androgens on the other hand though, not so sure. also prostate is a concern for anybody even if you tell yourself you can cope with being bald, nobody can cope with cancer.
