Russian official wants to investigate whether U.S. moon landings actually happened

"In 2009 NASA admitted to erasing the original footage along with 200,000 other tapes to save money..." paraphrased from the article.

Their budget in 2009 was 18.4 billion USD.
Their budget in 1969 was 4.2 billion USD. Which is the equivalent of 28.9 billion USD today.

How bad did they have to fuck up on their spending to justify erasing the tapes of the FIRST MOON LANDING IN HUMAN HISTORY. Thought we know of at least. Maybe it didn't even happen. Who fuckin knows. Russia might find out.

You realise the clips were broadcast simultaneously all over the world and recorded 1000's of times. The whole world had the exact same tapes NASA did.

"We are not contending that they did not fly [to the moon], "

"the Russian official also emphasized that "U.S. authorities had crossed a line by launching a large-scale corruption probe targeting nine FIFA officials," according to the Moscow Times."

Interestingly what to do with mountains of pre-digital data is a significant problem.

A lot of it is at risk of being lost due to the expense of digitising it. A proposal one org had was getting retarded people to digitise wharehouses full if strip charts, analog storage mediums, tapes etc. Its an actual problem for a lot of medical, government, military, historical, geological, climate, financial, legal, religious etc data.

Not everything is a conspiracy.

When I read the FIFA comment I lost a bit of credibility for this. Still there have been a lot of inconsistencies with NASA. A lot of their space videos are filmed in a studio, and not in space.

Also ALL the technology they used to fly to the moon has been destroyed? It's too expensive to create it again? Sounds odd to me.

Regarding your comment about the handicap people, it's a common thing for the government to do. All GI Issue uniforms in the military have tags on them that say "made with pride by Americans who are blind". Explains why 9/10 the pockets and seams were all fucked up.

Seems the Russkies are still butthurt they never made it to the moon first so they decided to go on a witch-hunt many years later.

Makes one wonder if the Russians really helped get Trump elected ... did Trump really get elected? How do we know for sure he is the president? Does the US government have any footage to show that?

I heard Trump died in a car accident long ago and they replaced him with a body double. If you translate his seething into Morse code, you get the confession.

Isn't that why we are in Afghanistan to protect the opium fields??

Lol. I feel like we doesn't include you.
Those who are in the armed forces are in a number of places guarding a number of things.
4th ID was tasked with guarding lithium mines in Stan while China mined them. That was back during Obama's reign.

I was in Afghanistan to spread freedom at 1800fps and make the fucking grass grow.
Idk @franchise24 @hurricane - did you guard any opium fields?

Of course soldiers have historically been experts on the why. Major part of basic training to ask why they are fighting and challenge those assumptions before they fight and have full understanding of the long term strategic significance of their actions eg dominoes, WMD and shit.

Just a dumb civilian here, only know what the fake news tells me.

Liked the dog whistling you put out for back up.

No guarding of opium fields here.

You can't believe everything the news puts out. Not saying that this is incorrect. But you have to see the bigger picture. Why are they guarding the poppy fields? Was it to provide protection for another team while the fields were destroyed? The news only gives half the truth/story.
