Yes it's amazing. 1-1.5g is all you need for a good night out. I don't drink or do drugs, so it's my favorite thing. Makes you social and just happy. It works on the GABA receptors of the brain, increasing dopamin that way.
Best thing is that you don't feel like shit the next morning unlike many dopamine increasing substances. And you will have the best sleep of your life on it.
But be careful, the withdrawals are crazy. I wouldn't advice taking it more than once per week. I know idiots who abuse it everyday and get fucked.
I even used it during my final oral exams at uni, it completely removes all anxiety. For me it takes 2 hours to kick in fully and lasts for another 5-6 hours. The effect is best on empty stomach, fasted for atleast 2-3 hours prior.

The combo caffeine 200 mg+ phenibut 500 mg is fantastic! But I haven’t try 1-1.5 mg

Unless it's Endopharm Phenibut straight from russian pharmacy, it's not worth it, because it's readily accessible cheap everywhere

Most reliable vendors of the nootropic past have stopped carrying it over the last few years. Though several o.g. offer hcl/faa still...
So many mixed reviews regarding current batches.
It would be nice to have a revival of f-phenibut hcl that does not cost a zillion dollars for 10g. etc.
Have moved on to Baclofen, but it is not the same as Phenibut hcl. Domestic availability & quality & pricing all need attention to even consider from any place new.
Caution and care required for Phenibut & co.
