My problem is he said he used .22 filters, but he doesn't have them. How did he get ahold of those filters? What did he look up to come across a 2.5um paper filter instead of 0.22um nylon, PTFE, or PVDF? Hell, he didn't even have PES, they were paper. Regardless of up front and honest he couldn't order basic supplies and ensure what he was doing the most basic of things. He didn't verify size nor material.

In all honesty I feel bad for some of these sources quite often and what they have to endure when starting out.
Even the shit I say sometimes I think to myself that was pretty harsh lol.
I then justify it by knowing that these sources can really put a hurting on members here. Whether it be physically or financially and that doesn’t sit well with me! I’ve always tried to put members and lurkers best interest (including myself) first and do the best I can to get information or my viewpoint out there for everyone to use.
Fuck, sometimes I even ask an off the wall question that has nothing to do with anything at all just to see if the a source is paying attention to every question lol. There’s actually some methods to the vetting madness!
Imo, as a community we do a pretty good job when it comes to vetting these sources! I can easily put my feelings to the side when it comes to the health and overall wellbeing of our members!
Sources come and go here all the time, but good members are here everyday spewing these threads with some knowledge!
I see Meso as a members board and not a sources board so I’ll always be on the side of our members here ( within reason of course).
