Scar tissue

After years I have aquired a good amount of scar tissue in my glutes. I do rotate injections. It really seems that my glutes are no longer absorbing oil. Anyone else have this problem? How have you dealt with it? Would switching to a 1 inch pin help? Thanks

Do you primarily inject in the same spot each time?,,myself I rotate 3 spots per glute for injections so as not to hit the same spot so often.

I guess I kind of do hit the same spot in my glutes- how far down and how far out are you going? I have been cautious after hitting a nerve about 8 years ago.

I've hit the sciatic nerve before also,,not a good feeling. That was a very wayward injection though, and I didn't know what the hell I was doing either.
I hit high and to the side, a little lower to the side and then straight across from the first one a little more to the center. Kind of like a triangle. Of course I alternate glutes each time.

Gman, I just recently started doing the same thing with very good results.
I don't seem to be able to tolerate quad injections anymore. Everytime I hit one of my quads I can't walk for a week.
Moving the site around a little seems to really work! But I do think you have to stay close to the upper outer Glute.

That scarred up old graybass

Everyone who has done this for any period of time has dealt with this. If you were switching from a 1" to a 1.5" it would help you temporarily. The solution is site injections. I very rarely inject glutes anymore, have not for years. I just have too much scar tissue. I do feel that injecting into scar tissue, in an area that is not very vascular to begin with, inhibits/delays absorption. I have not have any problems with scar tissue in more vascular tissues where I have range of motion greater than the upper glutes. Every single pro or top amateur I've ever known relies primarily on site injections.

Site injections is the way to go, I do my tris, shoulders, chest, quads, and gluts. I havent tried bicep or calves but doing injections Every day im considering biceps and calves.....

Thanks for the help Bros. I really appreciate it. If I lay of my glutes for a while will they heal enough that I can abuse them again? Also, after a while won't I or anyone build up scar tissue with site injections? I need my juice :)

I was also wondering this.I only inject into my glutes. Will the scar tissue go away or like thin out after a while once I stop injecting there? Thanks.

scar tissue is permanent some people have actualy needed surgery to get it removed. for most people, rotate between delts quads and glutes. thats six sites. if your like me and love injections, try out bi's tri's calves, pecs, traps, lats. after a whiole they all become painless. ive put sust in everyone of those i mentioned, mostly jsut to try it out. the smaller the neele gauge the less scar tissue. i use a 25 gauge 1 inch for everything. except glutes i ahte gllute shots. ill prolly never do em again. jsut too awkward.
