Second cycle advice needed

Hey guys,

It’s been 1 year since my first cycle which was 12 weeks of Test E only. I did a bulk, added some fat as well.

Anyways, looking to do a serious cut this time. Doing 12 weeks of Test E (500mg) and mixing in some anavar.

My question, when should I start the anavar and for how long? I was thinking of doing 60mg to 80mg per day.

236 lbs
~23% BF (yes I know... I was 30%+ one day and dropped naturally). The last bulk really increased my bodyfat as I went overboard.

Looking to reach <_ 15% BF this cycle.

Diet will be on point. I will be doing a larger than normal deficit of around 1000 calories. Will be lifting 5x/week. I don’t have a cardio machine at home, but I can probably think of something.

Would appreciate some advice! If you’re going to tell me I shouldn’t do the cycle as I’m at 23% BF, respectfully, please don’t post. Thanks!
 
Well, you nailed it. You shouldn't do this cycle.

Lose weight in a deficit and then use test to build muscle.

Taking gear won't do you much good.

However, you'll probably do this anyway and you should drop the var down to 30-40mg a day split AM/PM. Taking more than that is just asking for painful pumps and won't really add much in the way of anabolism.

Start the var at week 7.

If you don't have the var yet, then replace it with something else. Primo, Mast, Deca are all good choices that you'll get better results from and will be nicer to your liver.

Every time I've lost weight has been on 200mg TRT or nothing and its been fine. This stuff won't really make you lose weight any faster and really shines in a moderate surplus of clean gains.

You could lose the weight you want to lose in a couple months and then ramp up the calories while starting the cycle immediately after.

The end result is you'll have more room to gain, be healthier, and come out better for it.
 
I would dial the dose back to 400mg max on the test, I wouldn't go above 60mg on the var and even that's probably a tad high.

As far as structure, I'd just pick first or second half of the cycle to include the var. I don't really see any particular reason one would be better than the other in this scenario...

Overall, not much you can really do with the cycle to compliment the goals here. Low doses are more than fine to hold onto current muscle tissue, that's all you're looking for here.

My second "cycle" or maybe my third, I forget, was GH only. Maybe give that a little thought instead of the AAS for this one... It'll align with your goals quite a bit better, I was happy with the results when I went that route. I still did PCT back then, helped drop the fat from first cycle, kept muscle on me, felt good, etc.
 
I recommend losing the weight first. I’ve lost 20 lbs the last 3-4 months simply cutting back calories and adding cardio. didn’t lose much strength. For sure lost a little bit but I lost a significant amount of fat. So happy I didn’t hop on test to cut.

planning a bulk of test 350 mg for 12 weeks with anavar on the back end. Then transitioning into a 200 mg cruise to check bloods for 6-10 weeks check bloods then bumping up to 350 mg with some mast for a smooth cut.

I already ordered the gear... believe me, I'm not looking for a shortcut. My diet is spot on. I've lost 60lbs naturally. I know I could probably get down to 210 in 4-5 months naturally. But you live once. If I do it safe, and I can reach my goals MUCH faster, I don't really see a reason to not do it.

Anyways, I really appreciate the advice! Will definitely split the var. They come in 20mg tabs, so it's perfect.

I wish I asked earlier. I already ordered the gear. So might as well just run it. I'll definitely log the cycle with frequent pics so I can keep myself in check.

Got Nolva. Will likely do what I did on my first cycle.

40/40/20/20

I also have Aromasin on hand. Never had to use it on my first cycle, so we'll see.
All’s you run for PCT is Nolva? No HCG no clomid?

As the guys said above if you must run this cycle run the Var at 40mg a day slipt it into 2 doses.

I would also seriously think about loosing the weight first then running this cycle. You will be much happier with your cycle if you go into it with less BF. Will have better results if you go into a cycle with your diet “dialed in” than trying to dial it in after you start taking shots. Just my .02

The fact that you posted this tells me that you already know the real answer deep down.

You’re cutting from 23%. The point of drugs during a cut is to preserve muscle mass. If you’re trying to go from 10-12% to 6-8%, you likely need them to preserve your lean mass. You’re significantly heavy, so as long as you lift and eat enough protein you aren’t going to lose muscle in any appreciable quantity.

Dial your deficit down to 500 from 1000 and dial up your cardio and there’s no reason that you can’t lose 15 lbs in under half a year drug free.
