Usually just throw it away, when people draw their own blood its usually not really done in a way like a professional blood donation.Question - what do people do with blood they draw themselves?
Drink it, pour it in the cauldron to cast a spell, save it for later in the freezer, throw it on people wearing fur coats, add it to guitar paint and charge thousands (looking at you Steve vai and the jem2k dna)Question - what do people do with blood they draw themselves?
Gotcha, thanksUsually just throw it away, when people draw their own blood its usually not really done in a way like a professional blood donation.
If you do it with a Doctor or someone profesional in that field you could do PCP or self-doping with the own blood like some olympians do but if its really worth it, most likely not?
I mean that's usually done to increase red blood cell count for oxygen transport, when youre on gear you got that covered anyways
High HK is a devils cyle. High thrombocystes, high blood pressure, bloodflow issues, headache, higher heartrates, kidneys, pressure on blood vessels, plaque, migranes all that. There is a reason why you want it to be below 50 at all times, ideally 46-47.Gonna have to disagree that high hematocrit is not a problem. When mine gets towards 60, I start having problems breathing and start having random headaches (headaches are normally never a problem). When I dump a pint, the problems resolve. I'm well aware of effects on iron/ferritin and supplement accordingly.
Seems like a biohazard risk for sanitation workers. Also illegal in many parts of the USUsually just throw it away, when people draw their own blood its usually not really done in a way like a professional blood donation.

Love how people are ignoring this comment yet it’s the biggest and best critique of diy phlebotomy made so far. This is why it’s super dangerous.pay for it from the doc wouldn't ever attempt this at home imagine passing out in the chair with bloods draining good life.
You take too much gear if you can’t manage your crit without donations. It does lower crit for sure, but you will get it right back long before you can do another donation safely. It’s a terrible and outdated way to manage bloods. You all can believe what you like. I know what I know through experience, slow trial-and-error, labs, and verification. Super dangerous? Ok.
