semaglutide ozempic source

What would the benefit of something like this be @BobbySweeney ? I’ve seen commercials and it sounds like some kind of insulin replacement? I really don’t know, could you explain?

Very cool stuff.
I would wonder at its effectiveness on a DNP run
To combat the extreme carb hunger.
@Eman Thoughts?

I've never heard of it so couldn't really say for sure.

Brief read on the drug website indicates the main use of the drug is to increase insulin secretion to lower blood sugar. So, the hunger "suppression" seems to mainly be just blood sugar stabilization and that isn't likely to do much for DNP carb cravings. Carbs help carb cravings a lot though... :)

I definitely need to do a lot of research on Semaglutide.

It's about to become very popular
I've read sever articles lately in the mainstream media, as well as I've seen it coming across my YouTube suggestion list.

Seems interesting.

And yes, I fucking love Carbs lol
Nothing like a bag of low far popcorn after dinner

The main use is right but the appetite supressing effect works completely different and is way better than you expect

When you eat there are Incretin hormones released(like GLP-1) which then result in Insulin and Amylin release, inhibiting of glucagon release and inhibiting of gastric emptying. And they also increase satiation. This is one of the basic natural mechanism during eating that promote satiation. Meaning GLP-1 will be released naturally by your body without taking this medication. However when you take this medication you can increase this effect even more.

I would recommend this very detailed video by vigorous steve:

Btw when you take exogenous insulin, due to bypassing this step and most likely lowering the release of incretin hormones because there is no more insulin needed because blood sugar is fine, you are doing the exact opposite and reduce satiation. Keep that in mind

btw vigorous steve recommends liraglutide. It is supposed to be injected daily.

The medication can have pretty uncomfortable side effects like intense nausea and you don't want to take something the first and having really bad sides for a whole week. Also i think sides are more uncommon for daily injections with liraglutide if i'm not wrong

I have two sources for the injectable but it's the form of how peptides are kept, a puck. Still VERY expnsive

I think he mostly chooses liraglutide because his nutrition plans involve regular refeeds. So you can inject it 5 days per week or whatever, and still be able to have your refeed/cheat meal days without being uncomfortable. Semaglutide would probably be preferred if you don't include those.

If It comes down taking a compound and feeling nauseous...
I'll just take some MT2 in the evening
You wont want to eat after a pin of that lol
Much cheaper too

I mean, you might turn back.
but whatever
