Shat blood

Have you been on any rounds of antibiotics this past year? And if so, how many rounds ?
Not at all. At this time of the year last year, I caught mononucleosis and it wrecked me so hard. I survived by taking huge amounts of tylenol and advils. I write this as this is the only thing that made me sick in the past year. And it was exactly a year ago.

I just thought of this..I kissed my dead cat good bye before putting her in a box and then a freezer. The kiss was pretty much on its foreheard 5 minutes after it passed away. Could I have gotten a desease from that? :/

By the way, I have no more meds, but I went to the bathroom 3x today. 1st time there was no blood, 2nd and third there was. Only thing that seperated 1st and 2nd+3rd was sleep (went to bed at 8am).

Yes!!! Your cat can give you cdiff! Many infections, parasites etc can cross between human and cats and humans and dogs.

If the cat had any fecies on it, then you could have contracted it. ( or if the cat had cdiff and licked its paw and paw went where the part you kissed was) This is highly contagious. And all the symptoms you have lead me to believe you have something more major. ( cdiff can live for weeks on any surface)

I personally know people who have contracted this and one was in hospital for over two weeks because they didn't take it serious and kept putting it off

Doctors kept giving her antibiotics, which in turn, made it worse. There are specific and selective antibiotics they use to get rid of this, but the broad spectrum antibiotics they kept giving her from them thinking it was other things, is what caused it to spiral out of control.

I highly encourage you to get tested for this as it can be life threatening. Or just research cdiff and see if you are experience any of the other side effects / warning signs that you have this nasty infection.

Symptoms of C. diff infection can be mild such as watery diarrhea three or more times a day with mild abdominal pain or tenderness or maybe more severe with diarrheal episodes reaching 15 times a day with severe abdominal pain, blood or pus in the stool, fever, weight loss and loss of appetite.

I HIGHLY encourage you to get a stool sample taken and err on the side of caution than put this test off.

@jonkobeck @movingiron88 Did you guys get this after a cycle or was this unrelated? I ask this because I'm trying to figure out what the fuck could have caused this (something i ate, touched, kissed, breathed, licked, etc...)

This shit made me laugh so fucking hard man

Mine was not related to gear whatsoever. I'm fairly confident with the diagnosis since they took a stool sample and ran labs on it. I do road and bridge construction and think I may have gotten it from not washing my hands before I ate. No running water on the job just portajohns. We tie into active sanitary sewers a lot but it could have been a number of things. I'm a lot more careful now.

As @Roger rabbit says, you ought to have had stool sample taken.

The most probable reason for the bleeding it the stress on bowels by diarrhea - the contents of your alimentary tract fly through you so fast that the stomach acid doesn't neutralize properly and wrecks havoc on your intestinal epithelium. Either diffusely, or you have duodenal ulcer.

Imagine blowing your nose to often - you end up with bleeding eventually. (now imagine blowing it with acid).

You might also have some mild intestinal infection which the antibiotics will help with.

Now, if the blood was really really almost black, then the most probable reason would be stomach ulcer.

None of these are extremely serious and will go away as your stomach settles and/or ATB start working.

Now, had the sample been taken (just a swab is enough, really) after a first few days there would be results available - if there's Clostridium Difficile (nasty little fucker) there it would require a change in therapy. If there's not, you are most probably okay.

Fun fact: The best therapy for rampant C. Difficile infection is fecal transplant from your family members. Yes, exactly what it sounds like.

Now, if even after a long time the bleeding doesn't stop, you might want to be checked for ulcers and Helicobacter Pylori, colorectal cancer or autoimmune diseases of bowels.

You said the blood wasn't bright red, so I don't think it's hemorrhoids.

@jano fecal transplant? They litteraly put my dads poop inside me? Fuck that hahaha

@miamifunk I think so. For 3 days I didn't need to go shit 10x to the bathroom and today I can officially say that my poop is solid. I'll never take my intestins for granted ever again!

Thanks for the support and information to all the guys that took their time to answer my questions and fill me in. No joke, you guys gave some sort of support and I appreciate it. @Roger rabbit @DrinkFlintWater @jonkobeck @MisterSuperGod @johntt44 I think I named you all after a quick check, anyways thanks bros!
