I am a newer poster on this forum but consider myself to be somewhat smart with my post. Maybe a little bit on the paranoid side. But It doesn't take much to be safe. Just a little common sense and common courtesy for other members and sources.... The thing about what you are proposing is that the majority of posters that post stupid shit do not read rules. Therefore we would have to have moderators that monitor and edit post. Then you are opening up Pandora's box. I thought this board was built on being an open non censored forum ?...., I mean yes I would love to have some rules to protect all of us. But I am afraid it might have a domino effect with other censorship..... This is just my opinion but who am I to speak for the long time members here any way?

I wouldn't mind seeing the can't-edit-your-own-post thing fixed. Members here are pretty vocal when someone posts something really stupid. I'm sure most could be persuaded to fix their offensive posts.

I'm not a proponent of more rules in this forum.

I think the subforum, as it exists, has exposed quite a few poor sources. And add to that list the sources who are "allowing" too much sensitive information about their business practices to be posted. Please avoid these sources rather than ask me to protect them by instituting rules that make up for their poor customer screening/management.

should we have more rules on this thread?

There is a sticky provided about the rules for this forum.
If you think its not thorough enough maybe you could write one up yourself.
Maybe you could help guide them through the process of learning about how to protect themselves and proper forum etiquette.

No new rules. But I think there should be a 50 post count and higher subforum or something of the like.

So when guys like me get on here to try to spend a couple of minutes reading good stuff from good people who have been around for a little while, aren't discouraged to even log back on because of all the BULLSHIT threads and HORRIBLE ass posting that has been happening lately.

It's like I don't even have the desire to log on anymore like I used to because I know the first 10 threads I look at are full of stupid ass new kids all saying stupid ass shit.

Meso is one of the best, if not, the best board I've visited. But lately new kids have been bringing it to shit. And I know it has nothing to do with you Millard.

Like I said earlier, their should be a subforum for people with a set amount of post, or you have to get approved by A FEW vets to be allowed to join that subforum.

Just my .02 cents

@ miller and pit don't take me wrong and miller this is your site and have done an amazing job all the way. I posted this to grab people attention. Of being more careful of what we write in the underground thread. As this thread is a privilege. To have and should be respected If we do not read the rules and learn what to say and not. It is a privilege that one day may not be there. And pit no I can not provide better rules but I think all of us need to voice what the rules a little more often as the newbie's don't read them. I read a thread the other day where a guy gave out extra info on Wu.

The point and appeal of this board is its lack of rules.
There are literally thousands of boards with more rules then members.
If you don't like this one why don't you sign up at a more censored board and work your way up into the elitist groups there instead of trying to set yourselves up as the elite ones here.

Not to sound like a dick but it seems like some people just don't get it.
The arrogance that accompanies such a request is very palpable.
Why are you guys any better then anyone els?
Why should you get special treatment?
You think a exclusive, special subforum just for you is going to stop newbs from posting dumb shit?
I could make an alter and have 50 post in 20 minutes.
One of you has like 50 post, I have like 150, so by your logic I'm somehow better then you.
Everyone should be EQUAL!
That is one of the great things about this board and specifically its appeal to me.
The elitism and down talking to jr members at other boards is what led me to search for a new home.
Mods and reps doing what ever the fuck they want while enforcing their rules on every one accept each other.
Shit makes me sick.
Any board you go to, no matter how censored,is going to have newbs posting dumb shit, there's no way around that.
And lets not ignore the fact that the experienced are supposed to helping the inexperienced.
Whatever, my rants done I'm going to sleep, do whatever you feel is right.

@ Pitt first calm down. No one is better than any one you can look through all my post im a pretty relaxed guy. I've never downed any one on this board. Im just saying. That some of these kids are reckless and don't care about meso ask silly question and there gone. If they stay we need to do a better job helping them and constituting what the rules are.

No disrespect taken by your post and your comments. To the contrary, what you and BB have said needed to be said and is appreciated. This underground stuff should never be taken lightly. And the fact that people are able to discuss should never be used to minimize the risks involved. I hope it accomplishes the opposite and makes the risks more salient for everyone.

There are a lot of forums that approach this issue in much the same way. This sub-forum was created with a decidedly different approach: It would avoid censoring or deleting anything about sources -either good or bad. It's not a particularly "source-friendly" sub-forum. But it's not designed to be one. It's not going to go down the road of protecting sources from negative posts and comments that otherwise hurt their business. Once it decides to do that, it's a slippery slope. Instead, it's all transparent here on meso.

Don't get too discouraged - the recent nonsense seems to be a cyclical phenomenon. School's back in session and different sports are starting up so these kids, who know NOTHING about AAS, training or much else, want to try steroids to get big muscles so they can land the cheerleader queen (as if!) or make the school football team or whatever. It will soon pass and we'll just have to deal with the shills.

Comment:
Millard makes a good point in that the recent numb nuts' that are posting sensitive info is actually a blessing in disguise. It highlights the sources that put greed ahead of safety. And if they aren't putting safety above all else, how certain can you be that they have deleted your personal info and transaction history? It could be stored on some database with the *intent* to delete "when they get around to it." And if sources are willing to sell to anybody with the money, there's a much greater chance they could also be selling to an undercover DEA agent who is setting up a bust. If the source still has your info on file, you can expect a visit too.

The bottom line is your personal safety has to be YOUR responsibility - not the board, not the source and not anyone else. If you get busted, you will be totally on your own. Like BB said - never forget this is an illegal business. If you let your guard down, you leave yourself vulnerable. Choose your sources wisely and be careful.

Thank you miller well said and thank you for everything you do and this board. As I've said its they only board im on and ever will be as im proud to be a member on. I hope I did how ever grab peoples attention lets all be more careful I am no saint and have my my mistakes in the past. But let's all help each other on being a little more thought in what we write and the effect it can have on us all. Once again miller thank you and I hope you don't feel as I have directed you as that was not my intention.

Thanks! That's a big compliment. You obviously care about this forum and care about the community. And I hope you always feel free to provide constructive criticism. :)

I hear you, Anaconde. And to echo CBS, don't get discouraged. There are a lot of good members who are doing a great job of shaping the sub-forum and keeping it on track. It's not perfect. But it's a good and viable alternative to everything else out there; this is in large thanks to the MESO community!

I would take that comment further. Meso is the BEST and MOST viable alternative to everything else out there. Not only because of this subforum but for many, many reasons. I've been here for a while now and I'm still impressed by the quality of information available. But what really sets Meso apart is that it is dedicated first and foremost to finding the truth. The search for the truth permeates the every facet of the board - from evidence based discussions in the steroid forum, men's health forum, etc. to the vetting of sources in this forum. Sometimes the search for truth gets petty with bickering and arguing, sometimes it is aggressive and abrasive, and sometimes it's just mean. But the ultimate goal is always the truth, and no matter had we get there, I love it.
