a few months ago I injured my shoulder really bad doing a chest stretch and also had a car accident prior not sure if that had an impact but anyways.

Ive been to everything in the book over 20 chiropractors, pysios , osteopaths , doctors and basicly am now awaiting to talk to a surgeon which wont be for another atleast 18 months here in canada they are booked up..

At first i felt a sharp burning pain in my armpit so I ignored it went on about life, next day in the gym I couldnt even finish my workout it felt like my serratus wasnt firing properly and my shoulder/collarbone was unstable/clicking/clunking. So i decided i should rest , and go to the things I said above which isnt help any... Chriopractors relieved it but within a day or two it would be back, im starting to think this is a nerve injury to my branchial plexus cause im having constant bulging of my first rib( i believe) at the base of my neck/trap, like a constant knot but also under all that is a nerve bundle which i think is where the problem is coming from my shoulder/ armpit and everyhting jus feels wonky/numb defenitely not normal, has anyone ever experienced this and what should i do? all i can do rn is wait for mri/surgeon but thats gonna take months i need a fix now n not jus pain medication, its not really pain its more discomfort/muscles wont work which causes pain... I been working out anyways I dont feel like getting skinny lol. replies please :)

ill add a few photos of where spots are. dont have a photo of the last spot but its directly in the armpit feels swollen and almost like there are lymphnodes swollen there lol.. im only 21 so this needs to be treated asap the sooner the better imo so if it is a nerve injury the likelyhood of it regenerating is high.

I'm a Day late and dollar short, but....

If you're experiencing pain while exercising you should consider not training. Doing so could lead to further injury. I understand your perdiciment, and truly understand not wanting to lose gains or get weaker. But you have to choose; further injur yourself or ask a doc what exercises you can do (I know you already spoke with a doc).

If it were me, I would just take it easy for a few months. Adjust your caloric intake appropriately and wait for an appointment. But it's up to you mate. If you think you're fine, then do what you want to do. I wouldn't encourage you to rely on Meso members to tell you that you should do this or that. I know you're just seeking advice, but you really need to think of what's best for your health and make the decision based on what a medical professional tells you.
