Don’t know shit about cryptocurrency or how to do any of this kinda puts a halt to future purchases I may try is there anybody that can explain how to do it so I can assure everything goes as easy as possible having to is it

How about looking thru some of the threads in this very subforum. A number explain recommended avenues, cash app would be the easiest.

Yes, it can be a bit overwhelming at first but it's fairly simple once you get the hang of it. Most of the vendors here deal with Bitcoin so you should start there.

Not sure what country youre in but CashApp, Coinbase, or Binance are probably the best platforms for buying Bitcoin.

You're gonna want an external wallet to send your Bitcoin to once you buy it. I would suggest Electrum wallet for self custody.

Make sure you write down the private key the wallet generates on a piece of paper. The private key is very important. It's basically the key to your Bitcoin. If you lose this or someone steals your private key then your Bitcoin is gone forever so keep the private key safe and offline. Never take a picture of your private key. Never store your private digitally. Always store your key physically. If your phone is lost, damaged, or bugs out then you can use your private key to restore your wallet and funds and not lose your coins.

I suggest having a friend or family member install a wallet too. Practice sending and receiving small amounts of Bitcoin between the two of you until you get the hang of it.
