Skin sensitivity on Reta

Has anyone else experienced skin sensitivity on Reta? I seen someone talk about it on another forum. I didn’t know anyone other than me had dealt with that side effect.

Yeah wasn’t sure if mine was from reta or not. Started last Wednesday at 2mg/weekly. Figured it would’ve shown up shortly after or within a day or two of administering but my body has tons of hives, itching and wheals all over. Wasn’t sure if it’s from the reta maybe a delayed reaction? I also just switched laundry detergents too so it could be from that. Only two things that have changed.

Since starting Reta at 0.5mg and titrating up to current 4mg - 6 weeks in total - The skin sensitivity hasn't subsided. Tried Zinc picolinate, as recommended by other but doesn't do much. Fexofenadine seems to take the edge off.

Yeah today I took loratadine, Benadryl and some methyl prednisone before bed and when I woke up all of my rash was gone almost like nothing happened. I take my next dose tomorrow at 2mg again so we will see how I do. Maybe just continue histamine blockers throughout the course of Reta

That's what I've been doing, Take it during the day and I can handle the skin sensitivity during the night.

Just to add to this, when I was carrying more weight (230+lbs) I would occasionally get cholinergic urticaria at the slightest suggestion of a raise on body temperature (and in relation to stress) and it was being kept under control with 180mg fexofenadine (initially up to 3x a day) but losing body weight gradually removed the need for the antihistamine and eventually i stopped needing them altogether but I’ve recently started back on Reta (HYB) and have noticed it creeping back in again.

Might be coincidence as I’m wearing more layers now it’s getting a bit cooler but if it is the reta, it’s giving me a recurrence of that issue.
