Skin Thread Over 40

Anyone inject Ghk-cu? Been doing the glow combo but switching to just ghk for a month to avoid receptor issues. The ghk (from peptide sciences) is super dark blue and has had pip at 2.5mg sub a. Much lighter blue with bpc and tb500 also and no pip. Any workarounds?

I rotate between solo GHK-Cu, GLOW and more recently KLOW. With respect to PIP, I personally never experience any but my suggestion would be to use as much BAC as possible. In most cases that’s 3mL.

How has the glow vs klow been for ur noticeable skin effects?

Overall, I’ve experienced more vibrant/radiant looking skin tone. Slight wrinkle reduction around eyes. Currently not using GLOW/KLOW just GHK-Cu at 2mg everyday. It’s part of a skin care routine that also includes Tretinoin as well as other topicals. I’ll probably check copper levels via bloodwork soon, hopefully cycling off isn’t necessary.

I almost started a new thread but then i searched a different way and found this one. i wanted to plug this in and ask since it seems not to be addressed here:

How are you managing the skin oil on Testosterone? I shower twice a day so it isnt out of control but is there an easier way? im a bit unrefined at keeping my skin and i just wash with a 2% salicylic scrub once a day and DIAL gold bar soap the other time. I am a greasy italian, but what is your regimen to have manageable skin while on TRT? Seems to be the only real side effect i have

I think you want to look into Accutane (isotretinoin).

I don't have any personal experience with using isotretinoin on TRT or steroids but I went through a treatment regime in my teens and it seems to have continued to prevent acne and oily skin a couple decades later.

That's a terrible combo. Drying out your skin with harsh soap only leads to more oil. Salicylic acid is great for removing dead skin, not necessarily oil. Go to the ladies section and buy some nice soap that leaves your skin hydrated and refreshed. And no more dial/Irish spring/lava soap on your face. Witch hazel is a great astringent for removing oil. Put some on a cotton pad and wipe your face a couple times a day.

I should clarify that while it sounds like my washing regimen is not doing me any favors, i dont have much of an acne problem, likely because im not letting grease and bacteria sit on my skin for too long, but it may be as Bigdadd7 says and my soap choices are stupid. i never really put much thought into it until recently and i need to make better choices

I like African Black Soap , its good for your skin and it helps control acne prone skin
im down to try anything but for all the oil/grease, i dont have much acne. gonna try one of the girly face washes by la roche and hopefully it helps, my daughter has the same greasy skin so it wont go to waste even if i dont like it

Oily skin=acne prone skin , this african black soap also moisturizes and conditions your skin , while keeping the oils at bay

i see, i will definitely keep that in mind, i think target has some of it here so it is accessible but i just splooged on a bottle of that other stuff for now, will give it a month to see how it goes, if not the black soap is next to try. i definitely appreciate you taking the time to offer your advice

Well I'm out of actual advice and just have this N=1 anecdote:

I started buying cheap serums on AliExpress. I buy a few different bottles randomly for $2-5 each. I assume they're probably lying about the active ingredients but also that just doing something is better than nothing. I use HA/B5 serum and copper peptide serums and then a copper cream on top of that. Skin seems to be responding really well to that. I'm not especially oily so might not be relevant to you.
