Slow filtering, what am I doing wrong?

i was using 13mm .22 filters. Now I have 25 mm .22 filters with a much better caulk gun

I never did the caulk gun.. went bottle top filter .. and recently put together a sweet setup..

I’ve strongly considered it but I’m just not willing to invest the money for a couple hundred mLs per year. If I ramp up production I’ll definitely spend the extra money on it though. I love working smarter not harder

It wasn't cheap but wasn't terrible.. about 500.. and that's including a bottle top dispenser which was 230.. next is a flow hood..

I just finished my third brew, this is getting a little easier every time. It also helped that I now have a mixer with hotplate. I ended up getting a little extra test C, so It came out to about 255 mg/mL after overdosing. I got ~90mL out of the brew.

So far I have made 3 different compounds, but I haven't pinned any of it yet because I still have plenty of other stuff I am running through. Does anyone "test pin" their gear? Since I am new to this I obviously want to make sure the gear is good but I don't want to blast a ton of it in case it is not.

Should .1 mL be enough to see if I get a bad reaction from it? I have injected plenty of MCT, so I am not worried about that, but I am thinking more of a sterility standpoint. I believe it to be clean, but I won't know for sure until I pin it.

If you wiped all the tops, didn't break a filter and filtered into sterile vials then your stuff is sterile and good to go. As for pip I always did a 1/2 ml in glute to gauge pip.

Yea, I am a little anal about making sure everything is clean at the end, so I wipe everything down a lot. And no broken filters, no floaters and nothing looks odd about any of the stuff I have brewed. All the vials I use are sealed, pre sterilized that seem to be well and fully crimped.

So far only thing I had pip with was adrol I was try to make at 50mg/ml with just mct.. 35% bb everything lower was crashing bad and fast.. 35 held for awhile.. but it had some bite .. lasted 30-40 mins each time.. just a burning sting.. so lesson learned.

Made test decanoate 400mg/ml with 2/22 ba/bb , MCT oil holding good nice and clear . Will filter it tomorrow and pin 1 ml to check for pip . I talked with few guys they made their test e at 370mg/ml and they didn't experienced any pip or knot so I'm expecting same with that

That's a win in my book man.. good job. Brewing isn't hard ..sterility is where it matters most.. measuring and mixing ingredients is easy.. sterility process is more time consuming..
Keep it up.. it fun and it gives you more control over your gear..not having to always source vials

Next I’ll likely start messing with mixtures of 2 compounds. But that’s probably not going to be too soon

It's easier then you.think.. you will get more comfortable with time

I make 2 sets of vials using the same setup and batch except one vial set gets filtered with a syringe filter.

I wait for the control to mold up and compare to the filtered vial.

Then I take a sample from each of my brews and inject a bit into the confirmed sterile vial and wait.

I'm that fucking paranoid.
