I have a great idea...how about all of us here on this forum, run a nice 16 week cycle. Let take our measurements before and then after. Then how about we take half of our gains....and just give it to the couch potato! Sound good? Its only fair that that the couch potatoes have a good physique and health in America!

I believe Bush was in power at 9-11,war issues before that in were in regards to oil.
Training for confrontation in various scenarios is the norm,USA has many threats and have had dealings with Bin Ladin over the years so made some plans with him in mind,thats their job.

I hear what you are saying but you must have social support in a first world country.If you neglect the weak and poor {both mentally and physically} as in an ultimate capitalist sociality such as many other Asian and African countries, you have a break down of the system.Which will lead to social issues such as health, diseases,crime and more poverty.
Think of the poorest area that you know of,would you go out for a walk with your girlfriend there at night.Now take away all forms of social support how many more areas will become like that.
Time to change countries.

Why was this country not stable? Because liberal politicians had a grand idea of penalizing lending institutions if they chose NOT to lend to the financial irresponsible. ( Community Re-Investment Act) The only people that were talking about "race" were the Democrats. What an irony that it was the Republican party under President Abraham Lincoln that abolished slavery?
Bush was in power during 9-11. Your missing the point! The true terror threat began long before Bush, but the Clinton administration decided to do nothing about it! Now we are facing an even bigger problem thanks to Clinton not wanting to acknowledge the threat. ( see The Third Jihad)
Your third point about training for confrontations "being the norm" is true but very blind. You have obviously no military service or education in warfare! I'm glad "it was my job" as opposed to using weak, spineless liberals who have no concept of service or sacrifice! If you voted for Obama, that would of course be YOU! Weak, spineless and cowardly...not to mention completely un-informed!
Do you believe that ALL of our elected officials have been doing their job in a manner that is justifiable and honorable? Of course not! Therefore critical issues have been swept under the rug! How about Congressmen Barney Frank, head of the finance committee testifying in 2005-06 that "there was no problem with Fannie and Freddie"! Just one example. I can go one but you wouldn't listen anyway would you?
On your final point, once again you are missing everything I am saying! I have never said forget about the poor. But "poor" in this country...is a fucking choice! And why don't you cite some of the African and Asian countries that you claim are "ultimate capitalist? You have as much knowledge in economics and world government affairs as you do military and political fact! And for going into the worst part of my town with my girlfriend....I do! I go with my wife and children to share my Christian faith, to give gifts to the under privileged children as well as to organize summer athletic programs. When was the last time you gave some of your most valuable asset of time?

Probably a good idea for Jast to bow out of this one as he does not live here in USA and has not all the facts put together.Ranger, we give too brother..we faithfully tithe 10% and have for years..in addition if we see someone who needs help we also help them above our 10%.We always give to kids who need help also.I just hate the fact that a growing socialist goverment is brewing in our country now.I am very proud of your service to this great country and pray nightly that once again Godly Men would rule here.
