Something weird happend with injection this morning

I never have a problem injecting into my right quad. My left is a different story. Usually it becomes very sore. This morning, I slid the pin in and my leg just started spasming all over the place. I guess i hit a nerve. I just pulled out and shot the right. I may start doing all in the right quad. It is just twice a week. This ever happen to anyone else?

The only time I tried to do a quad in my right leg,,,Stuck and my leg shot straight out and part of the spasm resulted in me yanking the needle out,,,I went to my glute afterwards,,,I've never tried again,,,But then I don't need to do many injections on HRT,,,VDC

I've only hit glutes - but I bet you hit a nerve

Good chance you hit a nerve, if you hit to high on the quad there is alot of nerves...
The best way to explain where to inject is : when standing up straight put your hands at your sides and thumbs toward the body,where your thumbs hit the quad to about a hands width + above the knee is a good spot.....
