Sore Joints

I finished my cycle of Winny about 3 weeks ago and I'm still having pains in my shoulder. Is there anything that helps this? I've heard Cod Liver Oil pills can help with joints. Is this true?
Thanks
Jeff

Glucosomine is a good otc supp that may help..and yes EFA's promote good colligen health..Wisntrol was found to cause cellular necrosis in rodents, and I have to believe that causes very similar problems in us bigger rats....and like I've said many times , winstrol is shit! And IMO is responsable for more training related injuries than any other two AAS combined...

Yeah, glucosamine is good for long term joint health, but MSM is a little better for quick relief. Your best bet may be to get some sodium hyaluronate. Adequan was amazing for me, but that's more for actual cartilage damage/wear.

Naproxen could help some too.

ok i am dropping the money on Elastijoint by labrada. it has (in mg) 2000 MSM, 1500 glucosomine, 1200 chondroition and 5000 gelatin. is this worth my money or should i just buy the MSM and glucosomine? its like $20 for 28 servings.

You can get gluc/chond/MSM for much cheaper, then buy gelatin buy the bucketload for next to nothing. It's all good stuff, but that's not the most cost effective way to get it.

einstein

einstein, i'm interested in the adequan - i've been taking MSM and glucosamine/chondroitin, but it doesn't seem to alleviate the pain in my right shoulder

i was wondering if you could go into more detail about adequan and where to get it

thanks

First off, I have no vested interest in the product....
Adequan is a miracle worker for anyone with cartilaqge damage (not tendon/ligament problems). It's simply polysulfated glycosaminoglycan, it's the major mucoid constituent of your cartilage, but it has sulfate groups attached. how it actually works is not exactly clear, but it is thought to bind to/be attracted to damaged/worn cartilage and cartilage in general and restimulate growth. As of now, it's only approved for veterinary use (like EQ and tren), but there is a large clinical trial going on now. I have no doubt it will be FDA approved soon enough. I had one terrible knee. Both menisci were badly worn. I decided to try adequan. I am approximately 4 weeks into my dosing, and I feel amazing. My knee feels new. I've heard several people with similar results. It's also said to stimulate synovial fluid production, but the cartilage regrowth is key....the effects are very long-lived, based on studies in animals.
It's not a huge investment nor is it unsafe. I would have paid 100x if I knew the effects it would have. You do need to understand, specifically, you joint problems though...don't expect it to do much of anything for tendon problems (the extra synovial fluid may ease pain, but isn't curing anything).

Thanks guys, I'll check them out.

Something else to try is an Oil Blend (Flax, Safflower, etc.) containing EFA's. I get Udo's Choice Oil Blend and I swear it helps.
Only problem with Gluco is that it almost takes 5-6 weeks just to get in your system. Alot of people like MSM, I wasn't impressed at all. Tried it, didn't feel any relief. Just my .02
Just stay off the winny...eventually the joint pain will cease and damn it feels great when it does..no more sounding like a Rice Crispie Treat when I move around.
