Thanks for sharing. As I am not an expert like others in the forum, I asked an expert friend of mine and here is the money shot:
“You received a high-purity 60/40 MCT, with low oxidation, low free acids, and the correct C8/C10 profile. This is pharmaceutical grade quality, even if not labeled as such. It will behave cleanly in brewing, have low irritation, and filter smoothly.
If you want a grade comparison:
Ultra-filtered MIG812 is finer filtration and even cleaner mouthfeel, but this COA shows a very high-quality MCT, not a cheap cosmetic-grade oil.
This batch is safe, stable, and suitable for sterile filtration and injection preparation when handled correctly.”

Supplier should tighten their descriptions but glad we waited for the COA.
The "Miglyol 812 equivalent" product they sell will be great comparison COA. Appreciate you doing the leg work to keep them honest.

So what you’re using is C8/C10 (a few other domestic vendors also use this oil) and not mig812.
But you’ve confirmed what you have on the way to you now is mig812?

My apologies for any confusion, I just ran the COA through ChatGPT and that was the response.
@sp5der will have to confirm but my understanding is that he will be producing future batches using Mig812 if you follow the thread.

I’m aware he has some actual mig812 on the way but it appears readalot is saying what he’s using now has little to no difference than brand name mig812, so i guess just waiting on confirmation
Compare the two COA’s side by side. They look essentially the same. I’d say they are equivalent.

That's the gist of it.
Other stuff on the way may come back with even a little better numbers. Both products will be in spec and specs on sheet shared conform with mig 812 N.
But if people want brand name vs generic they will have to speak up.
Speaking for me I appreciate the vendor's transparency and would have no problem using carrier oil in this first batch.
Some accuse me of moving goal posts sometimes. I gotta give credit where it is due. If looking for problematic carrier oil then go see Axle's testing thread right now. The problem ain't here. My 2 cents.
