Ive had a slight pain at the back of my leg(knee area) for about 4 months now,i reckoned it wasnt much to worry about as it doesnt hurt during or after squatting.it basically gets annoying if im on my feet all day or squat down, say to pick something up,and turn my knee inwards?
I hadnt been training at the time this happened,as i was in the middle of a 5 month training break(doing up an old house)
i get med insurance through the work,so i went to the quack to get a letter so it pays for my physio, after asking me what was up ,he goes ,"you do weight training dont you",i said yes,and he said it was squatting that caused the injury, even tho i said i hadnt been training at that time.i knew this was piss anyway as im sure MCL is caused from trauma to the knee, like in a contact sport,or sudden twisting of the knee(i think, anyway?)im not going to the physio until friday,so should i lay off squats, even tho theres no imbalance, swelling or pain while training, just doing the aforementioned???
