Aromatase Questions – Feeling Low E2 on Current Protocol

I want to put this into proper perspective.

When I decided to work with a coach, I looked at several options. I ultimately chose this one because of their credentials and experience, and because I had some very clear ambitions. I wasn’t dabbling — I had a real vision of where I wanted to be in 18 months to two years. I knew I was already three years into training, but I figured that with the right guidance, another two years could potentially put me in a position to be stage-ready for a Masters division. I also understood that meant I still needed to add a significant amount of size, and that timeline might be tight — but that was the goal.

Because of that, I made a conscious decision to trust someone on that journey.

Early on, some of the protocols felt aggressive, especially on the drug side. But when you put your trust in a coach, you assume they may know something you don’t — or see the bigger picture differently. So you take it step by step. The results started coming, performance improved, and the blood work, while not perfect, was generally clean. Liver enzymes were a bit elevated, HDL was a little off — but nothing at a dangerous level, and nothing unexpected given the circumstances. That always gave me some reassurance, even if some of the doses felt higher than I would’ve chosen on my own.

Where my concern really started was toward the later stages.

That’s when the question marks began to add up — specifically around AI management and the lack of adjustment despite prolactin being elevated. That part was disappointing. At that point, it felt less like fine-tuning and more like things were being overlooked.

That’s ultimately why I started this thread. I’m not here to bash anyone. I just want to hear what others think, especially from people who’ve been through similar situations or have a deeper understanding of this side of the process.

I appreciate any insight you guys have.
I've been scammed by coaches before man.

Big achievers with big clients, what could go wrong?

I do powerlifting/strongman so it's very obvious to me based on the training structure who is a retard and who is not.

Turns out it's the clients all along, they're natural freaks and would have been successful with any coach they went with.

The sign of a good coach is how much they can take an average or below average person to something substantial.

Pick those guys, because if you're above average they'll take you to your ceiling.

Hey everyone,

I’m a heavy aromatizer and currently working with a coach, but I wanted to get some community insight.

I’m on exemestane, total 212.5 mg/week, split like this: 112.5 → 62.5 → 37.5. My most recent E2 came in at 152 last BW is promted my coach on this heavy protocol , , but I feel like this protocol might be overkill.

Since starting it, by 4 weeks lately I’ve noticed some classic low-E2 symptoms:

Just went for BW last Thursday for sensitive E2

  • Joint pain
  • Mood swings
  • Libido issues
  • Morning wood gone

For context, I’m running:

  • 575 mg/week of testosterone
  • 500 Primo
  • 240 mg/week of NPP
  • Pre-workout with ~75 mg of TNE

I feel like something like 12.5 mg every other day could have been plenty. I love my current stack, but right now I feel like I’m edging toward an E2 crash.

Has anyone with heavy aromatization experience run something more conservative like this? How did it affect E2 and symptoms?

Thank you in advance
You dont always need AI's they are very aggressive, for smaler adjustments i recommend Proviron this lowers E2 by 15-20points on my Bloodwork. Exemestan is really heavy and can put it down to far what leads to less progession

My next bloodwork check-in is booked for January 6. I’ll be checking estradiol and prolactin at that point. That gives me about a two-week window with no Primo, no Exemestane, and no other AI.
I did bump testosterone slightly to help E2 rebound, and so far it looks like it’s moving back up gradually. Once I see where E2 and prolactin actually land, I can decide whether an adjustment is needed and what the least aggressive option would be.
Appreciate you sharing your experience—always helpful to compare real bloodwork outcomes.
