Quick post, I got off the phone with family member and and he was complaining about ED although he is on TRT. I asked if he was on a SSRI and said yes. That is the most likely culprit in his case.

If you are currently taking a SSRI and you struggle with ED. SSRIs are notorious for ED...

It disturbs me that doctors write so many prescriptions to people without properly informing about the drugs side effects.

I am against SSRI use, unless they are used to prevent suicide.

My big stage performance about my scars the other day specifically came from taking a 7.5mg BUSPIRONE.

Safe to say I’ll never fuck with a serotonergenic? Drug ever again. Erased my anxiety for a day and the sent me into deep depression the next day.

I specifically took one pill to see how I’d react to it even tho I was supposed to take one twice a day.

I will not be taking a medication that will put me in that state upon discontinuation

Never ever ever ever did anything like that to me just elevated anxiety upon discontinuation before baseline.

I’m not gonna say ssris don’t work because I haven’t gone through schooling but really, if I do decide to go through this schooling to become a pharmacist, I’ll have my eyes heavily focused on the research of ssris for any flaws

I haven't taken klonopin but I took xanax for a while. Great for anxiety but I forgot a lot of events from that time, which was great because I could watch the same movie every night and never know what was going to happen.

Benzo's and alcohol target Gaba, that's pretty much the worst receptor you want to mess with. Gaba withdrawals can kill you. Makes opiate withdrawals seem pleasant.

If you talk to your doctor they will prescribe a PDE inhibitor like tadalafil(Cialis) or sildenafil(Viagra).

They don’t mention ED when you are getting on the meds for a reason. You are filled with anxiety/depression which needs to get treated first due to risk of suicide and to enhance your quality of life. They don’t want to scare you away from the treatment or create more anxiety for you.

They know that your dick will break. Just tell them it’s happening and they will prescribe you something easily. They are simply waiting for you to address the issue with them and since you are seeing them monthly for these meds, they are expecting you back in their office without you having to deal with untreated ED for a long time.

As far as the loss of desire for sex from the drugs... you are fucked there. The only way to get that horniness back is to get off the drugs or to do some illicit drugs.
