SSRI's and cravings

Been on 10mg of escitalopram (lexapro) for a few months now. I was on 5mg for a bit before that and had zero sides, but had to bump it up to 10mg because 5mg wasn't doing enough for my anxiety. Since then I've been dealing with some pretty bad cravings and it's got me gaining weight.

Anyone else deal with over eating as a result of cravings from medication? If so what do you do to deal with it, other than willpower?

Talk to your doctor about generic Latuda. It doesn't make you eat the house.

I've been taking Mirtazapine since forever. SSRI's shut off my urethra's sphincter so I can't piss. Let me tall ya, that's some goddamn "side effect." Mirtazapine's a tetracyclic antidepressant. I don't know what it does for anxiety because that wasn't my deal when it was prescribed. Maybe ask your MD about it.
