Sterilise GSO

Hello All!!

I am going to brew some T.Prop 100mg/Pml.
So my methods are fairly on point with the hygiene/sterilisation of equipment etc but I had this idea to sterilise the GSO by boiling it in a pan.
This mad? Anyone else done this and got a negative result?
Like my thinking is you put so much effort into sterilising the equipment then the bulk of what goes into the end result could of been swept off a kebab shop floor.
Appreciate any input.

Are you using syringe filters or a bottletop filter? With either you don't need to pre sterilize the carrier. It will get sterilized when you run it through the filter.

Don't do that. It won't do a damn thing except probably ruin your carrier oil.

Filter it. That's all you need. Find me a bacteria that is smaller than 220 nanometers and then we can debate whether filtering isn't enough. You won't fine one though. Thats why you filter everything through a .22 micrometer filter at the end. That is literally what sterilizes it.

This covers it all. Generally why it's the last step.

Since I haven't brewed in years and the last components I had ever been exposed to were BA, BB, CSO, GSO and guaiacol I had to test the effects of EO, Mig and MCT on my body since I have read reports of different folks having different reactions to all of them. Back when I brewed, these components were not mainstream. All I did was filter 5ml of each into sterile vials and inject. No issues.
