Hell, they don't need to reclassify anything. All they have to do is keep spewing factually incorrect, and misleading information, and eventually it becomes reality or the truth to most people. This of course goes for anything reported by the media, not just guns. And of course the idiots that make the laws are just as clueless about it all as the reporters are. It's sad really.
