Steroids causing loss of intelligence?

Do you have these studies? I want to see. Sounds very interesting.

I didn't "curate" these, but a low effort quickly brought up this catalog of neurological damage and a few of the AAS psychiatric conditions associated with heavy AAS use.

Thank you but I was mostly interested in the modafinil studies. Do you have any of those?

he didnt talk about modafinil? use google yourself mf
Look at his post i quoted. He said "FWIW, in animal studies, they found Modafinil protected the brain from developing these problems when high doses of testosterone were administered."

That's what I was referring too. And no, I won't use google myself. The guy is smart and can give me better information so I asked him.

Sorry I tend to read a study, and then the references. without ever preserving links. (and always struggling to find them again lol).

That said here's one showing the testosterone induced learning impairment in rats was reversed via Modafinil.

And another, detailing the mechanisms of neuroprotection provided by Moda, in this case from sleep depravation. but correlate with some of the proposed pathways steroid use causes damage:

(not much of a surprise here, human studies show similar results, with Moda inducing neurons to "protect themselves" by stimulating existing processes that pump out antioxidants and eliminate harmful waste)
