Steroids to lose weight?

Has anyone ever done a cycle to loose weight? Right now I'm 5'9'' 190,I'd like to be 170. The reason I ask about doing a cycle is because I don't want to lose any muscle just fat. Is this an option or should I just do it without a cycle?

It depends, if you are a solid 190 and want to lose weight, for a weight classed sport, then you are going to have to lose muscle. If you have 20 lbs of fat then you would do well with low carb diet with a clean carb up every 6 days, give or take, based on your results. In that case a little sauce will help you hold the muscle. I would say test with arim and nolv and anavar would be good for this. I've had success with people doing this with only 40mg/day of anavar.

at 5'9" and 170, how much muscle are you gonna have??? you can try a number of things

t-3 and clen will be a popular choice

primo

dnp

just read up on some threads, you have to know what you are doing before taking it or else you will hurt yourself and lose money all at the same time... personally losing money hurts me a lot.... lol

Thanks for the responses,I'm pretty solid. I'm doing it to fight in the 165 weight class. I've been an amatuer boxer for 15 years and I've never had a hard time dropping weight until now. I will definately read up on it first,as I am very hesitant in the first place, that's why I asked the question on this forum. I figure there is alot of experience here. Keep the replies coming, and thanks again.

read up on dnp... t3 and clen can eat some muscle... if you do dnp correctly for 10 days or so.... you never know....

The whole point of doing gear while dieting is to keep as much muscle as possible. It might be hard to get to that weight class while doing a cycle but not imposible. Just take the right gear that won't make you hold water...........11

If it's for a fight you should check out how to lose weight just for the weigh in and then come in the fight a little heavy. How long is it between the weigh in and fight?

For stuff try anavar only at 30mg/day week 1 and
20mg/day week 2
15mg/day each following week then
halotestin only at 15 mg 7 days before and the day of the fight.

DIET... CARDIO... DIET... CARDIO... Repeat! Oh and some clen in there would do ya some good too. eat clean and it will happen.

I hope this isn't for something in the next week because I don't really believe in a crash diet like that to compete in somthing as hardcore as boxing. Going to lose some muscle along the way.

It's an amatuer event so the weigh in is the same day as the fight, this won't be until January so there is plenty of time. I wanted to be around 170 by november. I just wanted to get some ideas ahead of time

If that's the case you should be fine to lose the wait slow and steady. you can probably carb up 3-5lbs after the weigh in but you have to practice that so you feel good.

Since you're solid and you wanna lose 20lbs, you'll lose some muscle. You need to minimize strength loss though so low rep nervous system training is the way to go....waves of 5,3,2 reps would be good...maybe 3 waves.

The cardio post above is right. Cardio, the enemy of all trying to gain weight, is just what you need. and of course diet. I would do HIIT cardio a 2x/week and 1 or 2 full 45minute cardio sessions/week but this all depends on how many hours/week you spend actually sparring/boxing training.

The anavar and halo recomendation still stands but I would try to get down to 180 by July and then give it a test run for a short stint. 4 weeks var followed by one halo. Stop for a few weeks and get to 175 before doing it again. It shouldn't be that hard to drop a quick five for that weigh in... The key with it is practice...you don't want to do anything drastic last minute that may kill performance so your long term steady approach is a good one.

There is always an option. I can tell from my personal wrestling experience, long term easy dieting was not for me and for my friends either. Even when easy dieting but for longer periods and along with intense wrestling training, it makes me feel very uncomfortable and nervous. We use a two months clean low carb diet and some juise, not so much for keeping the muscles but for keeping the training intensity on the level. Simply vary the carbs or take them away from the diet to control the results. But as far as that would be your first experience, you better take a sooner easier start. And btw boxing is the cardio itself, it will help you a lot.

Naps,

What type of cycle did you find to work the best, and how much did you use?

The general rule is not to use the gear that holds water. Its really makes you a little clumsy and not quick enough. As for the rest, everything would be ok. Halo, anavar, stanozolol. I prefer the last one. 50mg shot EOD or ED feels quite enough. Its classics :) . As far as I remember even Mike Tyson was cought on stanozolol at a drug test, and not only him.

I recently just finished a winny/var/EQ cycle of 14 weeks.

1-8 100mg var a day
1-14 400mg EQ a week
8-14 100mg Winny a day

I put on some nice keepable gains and strength went through the roof, AT the same time I shed 24lbs of bodyfat and am the leanest I have been since I was in the military 12 years ago, but everyone I see is like "Damn you have gotten huge!!" Measurement wise I am smaller due to the fat loss, but I look much better and actually have abs again.
