Still Air Box Question

Hey, I was wondering if anyone used a plastic still air box for brewing. The type that people use to grow mushrooms that have the hand holes in it. I was considering buying one to make a sterile environment to brew in, but I'm concerned about my mixer / hot plate causing too much heat and melting the top of it even though there will be about a 15-20 inch ckearence.

Makes no sense to use It during the mixer hotplate use.

Use it during filling of vials or where you need to mantain sterility.

You have no sterility during mixing and heating and there is no need to use a flow hood in that part of the process
