You make great points. Although, I think she went beyond the "quest."
A lot of times, the money just "goes to people's heads." Yes, they embark on a criminal enterprise to make money, but some are "ill-equipped" to handle it, and that mich of it (over 1mil?).
By "ill-equipped" I mean, these criminals—like this lady—aren't very savvy. She was floating around counterfit licensing, selling to who knows how many clinics/dealers, and even had people buying directly from her doorstep. Too much exposure, right?. She let the money "get to her head," greedy to make a quick buck, and didn't work-out all the details for "opsec."
She was making a ton of money and lost sight of: who she's selling to; who her competition is (i.e. big pharma); making enemies; and the possibility she could get arrested. Or, she lacks the mental acuity to figure it would lead to any of that. Basically, "ill-equipped."
On the other hand, she could just be a pawn in a bigger game. Maybe someone is "handling" her? Again, "ill-equipped." We'll see if any other information comes out, and who else is indicted.

However, I think we are talking about apples and oranges. You seem to be conflating big pharma with your local small businessman. Big pharma doesn't formulate anything. People do. Big pharma only controls it.
So, are you advocating that the system crack down on the Chinese suppliers that everyone here is getting their gear from?

How would it all happen, otherwise?
Make American and European pharmacological production great again and produce them in the countries where they are going to be sold.
Sold, legally, to everyone who is willing to use them.

I just find the whole thing frustrating and unnecessary, that individuals and clinics should be forced to buy from people like the lady here, who got caught.

She was just stupid IMO. was Distributing Fliers in town and posting on her personal social media, and was also selling peps to a compounding clinic.
She was an entrepreneur to the fullest. It’s great to always use a crash dummy first to figure out everything not to do for anyone else moving forward. I still am confident that it’s virtually impossible to get arrested for Tirz unless your insanely greedy.

I understand your point and agree that our system is beyond frustrating. However, nobody was forced. Certainly not the clinics.
Lots of ways, but not with the current system. It is self-perpetuating and would stop at nothing to maintain absolute control. Look to history.
"Ripping off" Technically, but I doubt that Musclehead320 was pulling a single customer from whatever pharma company he was using the label from. I suspect it was just his dumb way of making his bathtub hooch look legit. I suspect people were casual about it because it's obvious the company was not hurt or threatened in the least.
Stay small and off the system's radar, (Eye of Sauron). Don't let greed or pride usurp your better judgment. Build likeminded communities and support each other. Plan ahead.
