I'm trying to find a good pair of straps for when i do shrugs and a few other things. I've been having trouble finding anyone who sells them. Where do you guys get yours from?

i just bought a new pair myself, any real sporting goods store should have them.A piece of advice, personaly I don't like the padded type cant seem to get them tight enough, regular canvas or nylon's the best.

i couldn't find them at sportmart. maybe i'll go home this weekend and hit up the mall of america, someone there has to have them. thanks man

Here ya go.. I believe that these are used for "Heavy" days

any input? is this taking it a little too far? dps also has a few normal straps

I would not recommend the apt pro wrist straps. I just bought a pair, and although they are longer than standard straps and definitely stronger, they are way too thick. By the time you wrap them around the bar it's like you're gripping a fat bar. I was having trouble holding 500 with them yesterday, which usually is not a problem at all. I can't get my hands around the bar when I have them fully wrapped around, and the bar is in my fingertips. I do have small hands though I think. Maybe I'll get used to them and they'll work better when I break them in, but right now I don't like them. I prefer the thinner ones.

Which set do you have? If you email the owner and tell him your situation he may be able to suggest a better pair for you. I read another post with the exact issue and Alan replaced the thicker set with a thinner one for no charge. Their service is excellent in this regard.
