Stressing overcheck list

Hey guys,

So been through about 3 cycles, have enough gear for another 1-2 cycles, but becoming super afraid of bunk products after my last purchase. I have decided to home brew, and home for non-bunk raws. This way I can at least be sure I am brewing at the right dosage as long as my powder is dosed right..... However, since I am a tad OCD, I keep looking over my list and changing components. I wondered if you guys would look at the list and see? I plan on brewing Cyp, Prop, Ace and Deca at first. Know I am missing gloves, face mask, hair net and some IA as well.

What Raws will you be brewing?
Don't confuse the process keep it simple.
Go with the nygelen filter auto fill for me are a pre filter. Or not used at all

You mean like this,

http://www.medical-and-lab-supplies.com/filtration/disposable-vacuum-filters/bottle-top-filters/500ml-nalgene-mf75-bottle-top-filer-33-and-45mm-neck.html then just get the neck size that fits my 500 ML media? Should I assume this is a .22 filter? It doesn't actually tell me if it is or not.

As in supplier? Can I actual say the supplier name on the forums?

Ok awesome, switched out the filters now and I do see where it says .22 filter as well as the right size media bottle for cheaper on their site.

Anything else I am missing? Well other than the future stress of actually doing it..

Don't use their media bottle
They break easy.
You will have to order complete filter.
And use the filter only.

Gotcha, will stick with the original media bottle then. Wondered why theres was so cheap.

I was going to pick up a pack of 12 of these for $102.50 and just use it until it slowed down, or I switched compounds or was done for the day. Am I missing an additional piece then?

As @nophat said kept it simple. Since you're just starting I would stick with syringe filters. I would use Whatman .2 syringe filters. You're also going to need 18g needles and 25g needles. And buy a caulking gun. You can fit the 60 syringe in it and use the gun to apply pressure to the syringe plunger. You can easily do 50-100mls this way. Just buy sealed sterile vials. You will save a lot of money this way. Go to Basskilleronline.com a lot of good information

I have been considering doing that @Jeep187 since I will hopefully only brew once a years worth of gear. I am just worried about all the horror stories I have heard about syringe filters. If I can do everything in 1/2 the time, for $100 more dollars wouldn't it be worth it?

I am hoping to brew enough Test C + deca for a years worth of cruise, 2 cycles(8-10 weeks) of Ace/Prop without having to do it over multiple weekends.

Ya 12 filters are a little much.
Unless you have a good source and plan on doing it again.
Then get the rite stuff of the rip.

I understand you wanting to save time. I was just suggesting that you try syringe filters for you first time or two just to get your feet wet. You can brew and filter 50ml in a little over and hour. Not trying to discourage you from doing it your why just making a suggestion.

Ok def plan on using that, and the recipes I have seen Nophat post in the forums.

All his recipes seem really good. Does rip, mean the original post(minus the filter change) is good?
