Strongest sleep introducing options

Thanks for the anecdote, it would be a one time thing tho so I shouldn’t need that doss?
Plan to take it like 4 times in a year. Doing some more research into it, need to be knocked out for 12 hours of hell on a plane.
I would try what you outlined once or twice before you need it just to see how you respond. Might be good, might need a few iterations to get what you want without overdoing it and waking up on a plane all loopy.

Bong load before bed … some nice fresh pre-98 Bubba Kush … just might feel like an 18 wheeler ran you over when you try to get up in the morning

I like indica edibles 5 to 10 mg , depending. Or a indica RSO. I find that a small amount of RSO doesn't make me to groggy in the morning.

Anyone tried Trazodone? Read some benefits on it, but never tried.
I hate it, makes me sleep like 10 hours, but I am in slow motion for the next waking day and it ruins my sleep architecture I can never hit REM. It's like the most unrestorative shit ever.

I had to drop all the way to 25mg before bed to get a slightly helpful drowsiness without the corresponding feeling mopey as fuck for two or more hours after waking higher doses brought. I don't know how people take the shit at 200-600 mg a day for its actual intended antidepressant purpose without being walking zombies.

Does the beta blocker help you STAY asleep though?
Actually since I got on wellbutrin+rasagiline and optimised my supplements for dopamine support I've been amped all day and have trouble sleeping again. Heart rate is too high, adrenaline is kicking... and yes... in a case like mine a short acting beta blocker is perfect. I chose propranolol. I didn't like how long nebivolol lasts.

Interesting. I’ve been using trazodone for sleep onset these past fee days and have propranolol coming in soon, I wanted to find a solution to stay asleep longer. Sorry about your amped up issues. Same boat here :/

I've been taking that for 10 years and I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever except I go to sleep fast, staying asleep is another problem though trying to work through that, but Traz will knock you out fast

update- coming back to this, what’s your propranolol dosing? I want to dampen my overactive CNS at night without using too much.

Lurking here to find a solution to sleep through my bi-annual 12 hours flight. I even got business class ticket to try and sleep on a bed. I can never sleep on a plane no matter how sleep deprived I am. I fear taking a normal sleeping pill and then not sleeping, then it's worse.

Need to be knocked out for those 12 hours, cuz I literally have to raw dog every flight without any shows/movies/games to keep me occupied. Bored to hell every time.

Gabapentin 600 mg + Trazodone 75 mg seems like a great option.

My though process was: Gabapentin + Trazodone so I could try to fix why I can’t sleep in the first place.
Gabapentin makes me feel less over-stimulated “on” feeling I get from travel.
Trazodone complements it by forcing the brain into real, slow-wave sleep rather than the light, fragile sleep most pills cause.

Together I feel is can promote sleep to happen naturally and stays deep for 8–12 hours. For me specifically who can’t sleep on planes.

Although idk how potent it will be in actually forcing me to sleep, theoretically it's better than ur run of the mil sleeping pills. Cuz I swear if I take another sleeping pill and stay groggy the whole flight and don't sleep imma kms (joke btw, not serious).
I have flown internationally a lot in my life and have never been able to sleep. It’s absolutely miserable. Recently tried 3mg eszopiclone+600mg gabapentin (plus noise canceling earbuds and a sleep mask) and slept for 7 hours of a 12 hour flight. So glorious.

I've just ordered Phenibut HCL and F-Phenibut HCL I heard it is great for sleep but also for anxiety.. I aslo hear you must be careful with dosing. But I hear sleep is amazing and no next morning affects.

Be careful. You can get physically dependant on Phenibut in about 10 days. I would use it no more than 4 nights a week, with a minimum 48 hour break every week as well. The HCL is about 250 mg a night, 500 max for me (sleep and nutropic benefits). That other F-Phenibut is way stronger, and I have no experience or dose info. I have used HCL and plain phenibut pretty extensively and have overused on days in a row a few times and the anxiety coming off is worse than a benzo IMO. Great compound when used and doses properly!

Glad to hear,
I just did my 12 hours flight, a combo of not sleeping at night and powering through + 15mg melatonin IR + 20mg Melatonin XR + Unisom + Business class (I think the business class did 50% of the job as well).

I managed to sleep 10 hours. I had previously never been able to sleep on a plane in the past 20 hours except once, coincidentally that one time was also a business class seat.

Yes Phenibut works but like you said; tolerance, dependence and withdrawal are huge risks. Even 4 nights a week I think is too much.

Phenibut, Gabapentin, Baclofen and Pregabalin all work on similar receptors so could help with sleep but Phenibut is probably the only one that also gives a bit of a high and Euphoria which makes it more likely to abuse.
