Does it hurt your gains, interact with each other? My goal is to get off of it eventually. I'm just curious and I'm sure some people on here take suboxone.

Abstract

Opioid therapy is one of the most effective forms of analgesia currently in use. In the past few decades, the use of opioids as a long-term treatment for chronic pain has increased dramatically. Accompanying this upsurge in the use of long-term opioid therapy has been an increase in the occurrence of opioid associated endocrinopathy, most commonly manifested as an androgen deficiency and therefore referred to as opioid associated androgen deficiency (OPIAD). This syndrome is characterized by the presence of inappropriately low levels of gonadotropins (follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone) leading to inadequate production of sex hormones, particularly testosterone. Symptoms that may manifest in patients with OPIAD include reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, hot flashes, and depression. Physical findings may include reduced facial and body hair, anemia, decreased muscle mass, weight gain, and osteopenia or osteoporosis. Additionally, both men and women with OPIAD may suffer from infertility. While the literature regarding OPIAD remains limited, it is apparent that OPIAD is becoming increasingly prevalent among chronic opioid consumers but often goes unrecognized. OPIAD can have a significant negative impact on the the quality of life of opioid users, and clinicians should anticipate the potential for its occurrence whenever long-term opioid prescribing is undertaken. Once diagnosed, treatment for OPIAD may be offered utilizing a number of androgen replacement therapy options including a variety of testosterone preparations and, for female patients with OPIAD, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) supplementation. Follow-up evaluation of patients receiving androgen replacement therapy should include a review of any unresolved symptoms of hypogonadism, laboratory evaluation, and surveillance for potential adverse effects of androgen replacement therapy including prostate disease in males.:

A lot of people will give a person hell for being on suboxone and using aas. The main question is are you planing on being on suboxone for a long time? If so than I don't think they would interact or hinder gains, nor is there evidence they would. Or are you planning on being on suboxone for a short time(3 months to two years), because I wouldn't mix aas with a short term rehab, as aas can put you on an emotional roller coaster, and if your not stable(got your shit together) it could cause you to be more likely to slip up.

Probably a huge reason I never got the ex pregnant and my natural test was at 276.
How long have you been STABLE on suboxone? Or maybe the better question is are you stable on suboxone? You know, clean from opiates and other bad drugs(not weed) do you have a stable job and home?

I've been on it for the past 2 years. I'm just now In that part of my life where I quit being my own worst enemy and I got my act together and removed all the negative things out of my life. So I will be coming off of it pretty soon. I had a lower back injury 4 years ago and I use it for some pain relief from that but mainly addiction problems stemming from the injury.

If your almost off it and plan on being off it soon, than DO NOT start aas until you are off. And once you can sleep normal again and feel normal again than try aas

Yes stable home, single, and job, well work. I havnt touched an opiate since December. I don't even think about them. I got on ice really bad but that's behind me now I quit June 18th and that was it.

If you were gonna be a lifer on the subs, but you had your shit together than I would say try the aas. But do not jeopardize your recovery with aas

I've already started cycle. In the past I always felt the well being, energy, from aas always helped thru the wd and they where almost non existant

I've recovered from everything except the suboxone I've just slowly been tapering. I'm taking 3/4 strip a day now bout to drop to a 1/4 then go eod

I was sick as fuck not wanting to get outta bed rls etc I said some things gotta give started pinning some of my home brew tren and the next day I felt so much better and i was in the gym killing it. Think about how much of it is in Your head .that was 5 years ago

Opiate don't effect gains from AAS as far as I know ..
It's come up many times with my friend and pros probably use a lot of painkillers just like the average junkie ..

Suboxone fucks your natural test. If you're pinning MLs of exogenous test it won't effect that. I was on subs for a while. Get out while you still can and stay clean man.
