Sugar substitutes ?

What is anyones knowledge/opinion on using sugar substitutes
like splenda or nutrasweet etc... I have been slowly reducing my
sugar intake and I have read studies on the dangers of using these
artificial substances. I would like to sweeten my coffee and I would
usually use 3 tsp of sugar per cup. What is a good substitute?

I like my coffee sweet too... I tried splenda and have settled on simply using less sugar

I use splenda in my iced tea (or anything else that I sweeten). I used to use Sweet N Low.
