Suggestions on mass gainers?

2cups whole milk
Whole banana
2 servings of peanut butter
4-5 strawberries
Palm full of blue berries
2 scoops whey
1 spoon of olive oil (good fats and you'll never taste it)

1200-1400 calories.

That's my breakfast every morning. I eat 2000 calories easy by lunch time.

Get it gurl.
 
A whole sweet potato, 1/2 cup of oats, 4 scoops of protein powder. On off days add peanut butter and on workout days just keep hitting the carbs..

Most if not all gainers are total junk. I can buy a 11lb bag of maltodextrin for $10 and that's the carb source in $60 mass gainers lol
 
Don't get too comfortable with a home made gainer shake... add the shake to your meals. That's what I do... I never ever use a shake as an excuse for a meal unless I'm running around like a dick.
 
Here's my shake. I love it.
1/2 cup raw egg whites
1 1/2 cups fairlife milk
1 whole banana
1 scoop vanilla serious mass protein
And 2 table spoons Hershey's strawberry syrup.
Tastes bomb.
1000-1200 calories and less than 1% fat depending on the type of fairlife you use.

Also i have substituted the vanilla for chocolate flavor powder and the strawberry for 2 spoons of peanut butter.

2 tbsp liquid coconut oil
1/3rd cup mixed berries (blue, black, rasp)
1/2 cup dextrose
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Its not the best tasting shake ill admit. Also i usually slam the entire thing in under 15 seconds, followed by immediate feelings of regret and then 1 hour of me on a couch going "ooohhh my fucking god uhhhhhgggghhhhhhhh jeeeesus ohhhhh maaan my stomach, gaaaaahhhh!". Repeat, everyday.

To note im hardcore ectomorph.

Why suffer man? Mine tastes bomb as fuck. And I drink 2 a day on cycle.
IMO if it doesn't taste good, I won't drink them.

Its not suffering, its enduring ;) drop your balls and man up, this aint Disneyland, this is hard gainer glory!!

It tastes okay. But ya not great. I slam it quick because if i dont i feel full before i can finish it, less to do with the taste.

The crazy thing is even though its almost 2,500 cals, i feel ravenously hungry about 2 hours after having it.

To be honest bro most the meals i eat dont taste good. I eat for macros, not for taste. The only thing i even enjoy eating anymore are ribeye steaks. Now a good ribeye steak is like candy to me, my absolute favorite thing to eat. everything else just tastes like a donkeys nut sack sweat to me, and is eaten solely for the nutrients. Although i drink donkey nut sack sweat for religious reasons, not nutrition.
 
How many cals in 1 cup of peanut butter?
1518 cals & 65 g of protein
That should be the base of a shake if you must do it. Mass gain powder is junk IMO

That's a lot of PB to eat in one shot and do you feel the PB powders like PBFit2 are useful in shakes too?

One cup PB be good on rice cake too, so enough pb for 3 good size rice cakes.

My girl likes the powder kind.
It is leaner but honestly it is about the same thing taste and texture wise.
Maybe a little chalkier.
 
Yeah maybe it's not that much.
I just guess I may depend on your macros you want in your shake.
Most powders are carbs/protein and peanut butter is fats/protein.
Im assuming that if the OP or whoever is reading is in the unfortunate genetic situation where they have to buy cheap mass powder to gain weight they likely are not all that concerned with macros in their shake. Since the ultimate issue of gaining weight is calories going IN. Doesnt get a whole lot more calorie dense or natural than peanut butter.
 
Hey guys I am just curious about your preferences in mass gainers, going to buy a new one and I am curious what you guys typically use? I have only used the serious mass optimum nutrition mass gainer which isn't bad but I wanted to switch it up. Thanks
Real food is the best mass gainer by far.
