Summer cut!!!

Im a firm believer in not needing aas for a cut until it's single digit % but I'm planning on competing for the first time this summer and need everyone's tips and blasting fat off quick. I've been slowly cutting hoping for a pound a week and been successful. I'm hovering at 18ish% now at 220. I have 10 weeks to drop to ~10% what's the best way to attack this? Give me shit or give me tips either way everything is still educating me.

I don't compete and while I'm familiar with the cutting drugs that are used by some I don't know if 10% in 10 weeks is feasible without losing a substantial amount of lean mass or it being very unhealthy to try to lose it that fast. I'm sure other guys with a lot more experience in this matter will chime in but I'd say get your diet in check and get to a lower bf% at a slower rate and compete at a later date but that's just my .02

That was the answer I was looking for though. Thanks bud! I'll probably see if anything comes up July instead of June. If anything I can walk around the beach kicking sand on small guys and take there chicks

Fasted cardio and carb cycling have been good for me in losing bf. What class do you plan on competing in?

You are not going to lose 10% bf and still be competitive. Not only that but you are going to lose a shit ton of muscle. Just not worth it imo

Thanks fish. I've already cried and ate ice cream and got over it lol! I think I'm still gonna do my first cycle with a moderate dose of var to still lose some %

Step up your cardio game. Increase training volume/intensity and reduce rest time between sets. Drugs are a small percentage. Training and diet with consistency are the only true way to get it done.

That's the thing past 3 years I've meal prepped and been successful at each goal whether cutting or bulking, I train intense as shit properly aswell and so far down 12 pounds now in 4 weeks so it's steady a bit quick but it's not slowing down yet. I tried keto once and loved it but get like I was losing solid mass quick so I upped my carbs and now have a classic 40/30/30 split

How much time you have is the question. I do both. Hiit every other day and LISS in between. No days off really

I love keto. I pretty much live on a modified keto diet. You have to eat a shit load of protein on keto. You have to eat 2x your body weight in grams of protein per day. If you weight 200lbs you have to eat 400 grams of protein per day. That's how you maintain muscle on keto
