Sunday, Carb Day!!!

I have adopted a low low carb diet as of recently, and I have chosen Sunday to be a "carb refeed" day.

During the week I try to stay under 25 gram a day sometime I get as high as 5p but I'm pretty stick as I have the sameeals at the same time everyday.

The point of this exercise is to test my will and to see how lean I can get before I start my next long ass cycle in June.

I read some here that a carb refeed day is essential to be able to sustain low carb diet and it helps produce gullet muscles for the following days.

Soooo, this morning I had 6 free range eggs, 2 frenchtoast with lite syrup a whole avacado and 2 lz Jimmy dean's sausage. Shit was delish!

Does anyone else do this? How does it work and do you still watch your sugar intake?

I like the way the muscles pop after eating carbs after a long time of eating low carbs..... Following 2 days are always great at checking strength cause I have the energy from looking at that mirror muscles all full of Glycogen

Sugar is my enemy..... Dreaded love handles soak up sugar like a sponge

For some reason no matter how lean I get my love hanfles.don't budge. I think it just leftover from being fat when I was a kid

I try my best to aims for 30 grams of carbs but find it impossible to.meet my.protein needs. They say eat lots of fat but even these fats have carbs, walnuts, avacado, etc.. How.can anyone meet these daily macros and still stay at 30 grams of carbs?

Love handles is a B --- seen a study about how fat cells once accumulated never leave the body.... Just get larger or smaller according to diet and exercise..... Damned ol lipo would make it easier......

Chicken, chicken, and more chicken.....

Y'all tried Boca spicy chicken patties? Not real chicken there made out of soy beans but pretty tasty

I have chicken several times a day. I just got a new source for free range eggs so I eat 6-8 eggs a day. Lots of cottage cheese, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, milk, egg whites and whey. That's about it. I treat myself to filet mignon on the weekend, in which I mow down 2 of them bad boys.

Sunday I like french toast with lite syrup and a bowl of cereal

I've got love handles for the first time in my life, very hard to get rid of them. Age related no doubt (with not watching carbs too).

When I do low carb, I get dizzy in the gym. It would be embarrassing as hell to pass out in the gym. It's also harder to recover.

Yea, I'm injured right now so I have t been able to do much in the gym if anything at all but I been sticking to my diet. Are you diabetic

Directed at me? No, not diabetic. But I don't know how guys can workout on low carb.

I saw your injured thread. Get healed first! You've got the rest of your life to lift, don't fuck yourself up. I know it's frustrating, been there done that.

Low carb is hard for a lot of people..... Carb crash..... At first I would get grumpy as hell......

There's some articles out there but in a nutshell.... U find your base line macros, and drop carbs a little then come back up to base..... Then drop a little more then back to base... Teaching your body ......

Most bodybuilders (including myself) have two speeds ALL or NOTHING gotta fight that:)

Or just body build and eat the shit out of carbs love me some 40% diet carbs:)

I was doing it basically to see how lean I could get before my cycle so that when the eq mast and var are hitting I'm lean as fuckkk

I did some carb cycling a few years ago when I was natty. Cut from mid 180's to 160 in a couple months time.

I did two low carb days a week (less than 20), two medium days (~50), two higher carb days (100-200, I believe) and one cheat day where I'd smash a whole pizza and butter pecan ice cream with peanut butter cookies on top.

Lifted three days a week and a lot of cardio. I didn't really lose much strength, but I was pretty weak back then, so not much to lose. I remember getting crazy tired on the low carb days. Like nodding off tired sometimes. I don't think I could handle my current training on low carbs.

From what I remember of my meals on the less than 20 carb days I'd made omelets three times a day with eggs, cheese, deli meat, broccoli and spinach and eat chicken breasts with melted cheese on top in the evening. No fruit or sugar and all the carbs were from the vegetables. The other days I'd eat more fruits, vegetables and drink milk as long as it fit into my carb goals.

^^^^All over it.... Low carbs and I got to take 3 days a week off..... And slow volume and let the muscle eat it

A lot of people diet and hit 5-7 days a week natty .....no sir

My meter is flat bench, I load up 315 every other work out and if I feel like reps are heavy or can't get but a few I re adjust

Yeah, I did full body three times a week then and did the lifting on the higher carb days. HIIT cardio and LISS cardio on the medium and low carb days.

Yeah even when in low carbs I still eat a whole can of green peas.....sodium I know but that shits my rocket full every time I need some energy:)

Wish I looked right with a six pack.... But never made it that far..... Trying but doesn't help when old lady says fuck a six pack I like ya big:) so I just keep it manageable and low enough for some shoulder veins:)

We always get these kind, no sodium at all. Green beans, too.

No six pack for me either. Picking up heavy stuff comes first for me, too.

image.jpeg That's them but I still add salt.... Just on my own terms cause that makes them delicious

^^^And I might as well be a spokes person for these bad boys........ if u guys haven't tried them
