What does everyone do for flexibility?
I’ve been trying squat universities stretches just curious what everyone else is doing. I don’t feel like I’m doing enough.
Im so inflexible and can barely sit cross cross on the ground lol

R.o.m. in everything you do. Warm up. Unless you are into dance or martial arts you should be flexable enough. But if your r.o.m. is short in your weight training or you do isolation machines your muscle bellies and tendens will shorten. Coma victoms in hospital have to be stretched because their muscles and joints dont move. A little stretching goes a long way try to incorperate it onto your training during rest periods.

Yoga has helped me tremendously. Was late to start, but glad i did. I've been at it 3 years now. I train early am and do my yoga in the evenings. Like anything else you get what you put in. YouTube has TONS of free videos. I'd recommend Yoga With Adriene as a good starting point. She has a several 30 day programs she kicks off each year with, those are beginner friendly and will help get the ball rolling mobility wise. Plus you can search her channel for any particular ailment you may have such as back pain, neck pain, ect.

Start slow and easy, 10-20 min videos to get a understanding of the art and get your body accustomed to the various poses and positions. Concentrate on breathing and listening to your body. Its a process and a humbling one at that. Yoga has kept me in the gym 6 days a week relatively pain free.

If yoga isn't your thing just try to find some form of mobility training that you can apply to your training/life and do it 6-7 days a week. Motion is the the key to staying healthy IMHO.

Movement is the key to health, I completely agree with this. Yoga is generally awesome, both in terms of mobility and flexibility. And most importantly, the head somehow begins to think differently, yoga clears the head of bad thoughts and helps to look at many things philosophically.

Try DDP YOGA, it's Diamond Dallas Paige from back in the WWE who made "yoga for guys that wouldn't be caught dead doing yoga" he makes it not feel stupid and boring

Yoga is great.

Also to kickstart your improvements consider getting a myofascial release massage a few times over a few months.

This is becoming a major issue for me too. I've gained a lot of weight and muscle but have trouble putting my shoes on or taking off my fucking pants. It's ridiculous how inflexible I am now. I was wondering if anyone has had a professional massage and stretching and how quickly you saw results from it?

This type of yoga is very interesting and many people like it more than others or classical yoga.
