Superstitious Lifting ! !

I will NEVER end my set on the 13th rep. If I am at 13 and cannot possibly squeeze out another one I will do a half-assed partial rep and count that as rep number 14. Is this just me or can anyone else here relate???

That's funny cause 13 is a number I try to shoot for even if I'm totally out of gas on the 12th rep. 14-15 I feel like I didn't add enough weight (unless its biceps/calves/etc) and 11 I feel like its slightly too much weight.

That is probably some psychological stuff. Maybe some light form of ocd or something. I like some numbers too and my brain automatically notices them and prefers them over others. Maybe you like that number and subconciously you can't let yourself pass it or something. Just my assumption, there's possibly nothing wrong with it just a small ocd detail, which I believe I have too in some lighter form.

Don't walk on the lines of the gym matts, bad shit will happen.
Don't stack the weights with anything biggest to smallest or it'll be to heavy.
No issue with #13 though I'm a badass like that.

On some of my lifts I have the same routine. Like looking to the right and back before I lay down for bench or making motions with my arm moving out before certain lifts.
Maybe that is superstitious or just me having quirky habits.
