Judging by the section you put this in, i see you're referring to supplements and not "supplements".

Competitive pricing is top priority, IMO.
Not exactly sure what you could offer that would be so drastically different than the next retailer.

Lol yes I'm referring to actual supplements. Proteins. Preworkouts...vitamins..ECT. I could maybe compete with them in the future of I can generate enough buzz through the internet.

Well youd need to invest hundreds of thousands into processing and packaging and infrastructure, unless you just want to resell in which case you'll just be more expensive as getting it from the manufacturer or an official distributor.

Yea I agree . that's the problem. Id have to get my inventory from a wholesale distributor and unless i bought large quantities in advance to get discounts I can't compete with bigger companies. I guess I gotta start somewhere but I'm trying to figure out the best approach to make this successful

Create a youtube channel/IG and create a buzz...promote the shit out of what youre offering...
Take a step back and look at the number of similar companies and youll see there are hundreds of them...
Its cut throat being an online supplement reseller.
Youve done this before, correct? What went wrong?

I owned a nutrition store in the past. I was younger. Never in business for myself before. I started a website for the store and was paying another company to monitor the website from me. By time I paid that company their monthly fee and sold products at competitive prices..I coupdnt compete I wasn't able to even break even. I want another go at it but I'm determined to find smarter solutions this time.

Do you plan to have an actual store as well as online sales?

Cut throat business, indeed...in order to break through, something about your business needs to be innovative.

Social media and apps...two things that could make a difference.

Sponsorships...look at amateur sports in your area to contact up and coming athletes.

Just a few ideas...good luck!

Be a reseller and make an agreement with a distribution channel. You make your sales and generate income, your distro rep will take kickbacks from your GP as a form of backchannel payments. It's a win win. He moves more product and gets "side income" & you get low pricing from a legitimate source. You will break even on a shit ton of your line card but you will have opportunity to make points, and when you have those chances do yourself a favor and use them. It's a relationship that you will need to cultivate from the ground up, welcome to professional sales my friend.

I have cornered almost every A/V price point this way, except for monitors. Big box stores crush that volume, can't touch their pricing. Not even close.
