Surgery (non weight bearing) vs cut

Going in for surgery in a couple weeks, root miniscus tear and will be non weight bearing for at least 4 weeks, 25% weight increases each week. Currently running 200 Deca, 450 Test, 600 Primo, 3-4 IU HGH ,lipids, e2 all in good ranges, feel great minus my knee. Should I drop my doses to cruise 100/200/300, keeping my 4 IU HGH and adding in 25 mg Anavar and 500-750 mcg BPC, trying to possible shed a few pounds of fat ie cut. Or keep higher doses to maintain my muscle. Will have some dumbbells I can use when I feel like it to do some upper body if and when I feel like it. PT for the first 4 weeks will really only be recovery until my immobilizing device comes off. What say you Meso?

I wouldn’t try to continue a cut through the initial stages of surgical recovery, I.e. literally healing the surgical wound. Just based on what I read/did.

I did TRT+Var, TB500 and BPC157 for a distal bicep tendon repair. It worked beautifully even with the Anavar only being taken for a month. I don’t think I’ve healed knee scrapes as fast as the surgical wound healed on that. With you being on GH I’d imagine you’d heal just as good if not better.

After the incision had fully healed/closed (for me a week), I continued cutting. I had my surgery the day after Labor Day and I’m almost back to 100% on it but ymmv as you have a much different injury/procedure.

I’d definitely do your upper body dumbbell work as just continuing to move your body helps recovery immensely according to my surgeon. I was instructed to return to the gym as soon as they took my splint off and put me in a brace at the one week mark, and just trained around it.

Awesome, thanks for your reply. Did you get off any prior to surgery? Got the obligatory call to cease all meds for a week prior to surgery. I have zero medical conditions and don't see the need to screw my levels up for a week. Believe they will help more than hinder. Wont be divulging I'm on and know the risks of not as well, I fully understand my risks on that end.

No I didn’t as I didn’t want my levels to fluctuate either (worried about the impact on tissue recovery.). I followed the anasthesia instructions to avoid aspiration and ceased fish oil as it thins blood? I didn’t disclose the testosterone. I began anavar the morning of the surgery (had mine at like 5am so first dose at home 10am.)

Very good, just confirms our thinking!
