you prefer nolvadex to clomid for increasing T? do you do any kind of work with clomid or nolvadex before starting T therapy? i asked this question but someone else answered in a not so specific manner.

Swale's paper on this web page that talks about jump-starting your system after a cycle states that he prefers Nolvadex over Clomid due to Clomid's common side effects: tracers and emotional lability

I think he also stated that in his "Best Thoughts on TRT" article.

Some people seem to do ok and have no sides on Clomid, but the ones that get them (especially the emotional problems), turn into a train wreck.

That is pretty much unheard of with Nolvadex.

Well i haven't read much of Swale's articles mostly because i can't read good lol ... I just haven't but here is what i always thought after asking Bill R about Nolva verse Clomid ... 1st here is what he said to me .. Clomid acts as an estrogen agonist at the Hypo supplying it with the needed estrogen for increasing natural Test and Nolva acts as an estrogen antagonist at the Hypo ridding it of the high estrogen that will suppress natural Test. Clomid should be used for PCT because estrogen should be kept under control during a cycle ... Now we all know that we do need at least a little estrogen for natural Test production and here is what i think .... They both keep estrogen from having negative effects on natural Test by competing with stronger estrogens at the ER. So,i think Nolva is best when estrogen is high after a cycle,which for me,probably always was. ... I had the trailed vision while taking Clomid but i also had a very noticable feeling of well being. Clomid is also known for desensitizing the testes and Nolva makes the leydig cells more sensitive to LH .. I think
