3a few things; does clomid have to be tapered,lets say you are doing 50mgs a day for a month and want to come off,how would you do it,is the same true with hcg? also,the vision disturbances some get from clomid,can that be irreversible? finally,my hcg has been refrigerated for almost 3 months and i am still using it. however,the label says use within a month,is it still good?

mxim: You've probably already posted it elsewhere, but could you give us your current regimen and a super-brief explanation of your situation? Are you trying to stimulate your HPTA in hopes of avoiding TRT?

i am using 100mgs of cypionate per week. i also use 250 iu of hcg twice a week. soemtimes i do not use the hcg though./ i am in my late 30's and used steroids on and off for about 15 years. my dosages were never high,very conservative. in any event,my T levels are locked in the low 300 range now so T is important for me a form of hrt. in March i was using hcg twice a week because i needed to maintain fertility. my wife is now pregnant so its off to the races with the T.

What are you on right now? Since you want to taper the Clomid, I assume that you are currently taking clomid?

once reconstituted how long do you use your hcg before you need to discard it and purchase a new bottle?

It will say that on the vial or package insert. Usually it is 30-60 days.

I was wondering if you could use it longer so you dont have to waste 80% of the bottle....
