Good question.
I obviously have to be careful about giving specific medical advice. What if someone has some other, untold medical condition, then has a bad outcome with something I said. Besides the fact an indvidual has been hurt, I have absolutely no protection with respect to liability.
That is why specific medical advice requires a full workup and labwork.
I think sometimes guys come here thinking they can expect a free medical consultation. That is not, and cannot, be the purpose of this, or any, Board. Doing so would be unethical, irresponsible, and impractical.
I do not think my contributions to this, and other Boards, can be discounted.
