SYMBIOTICS Analytical Testing Results

It’s a scale for weighing out weed. Why you gotta be all sciencey and shit.

Why? Just so that you can prove to us all how smart you are? Nobody gives a fuck @balco. Just move on. Instead of second-guessing everyone, like the little self-entitled douche you are, why don’t you actually contribute something?

Tell mom I said hi again and I was asking about her.
Just say the magic words: "STFU Balco" :D

Yeah I'm the idiot, when you two don't understand what the word calibrate means.

And you don’t seem to understand how a scale/balance works, they have an error and drift variance, which is why you’ll see scales advertised as .001g +\- .005g or +\- .1%. Because there’s going to be an error, and that error is already calculated by the manufacturer and disclosed to you, you need to know where that error is 0.1 and where it’s 0.0. If you’re always using the scale in the 10g range I want the smallest error to be in the 10g range and the most acceptable error anywhere else. Therefore when I calibrate I’ll calibrate in the 10g range because I don’t give a fuck about 100g

It’s funny how you think calibrations of equipment are linear when it’s usually logarithmic. Also you need to know if the accuracy listed is accuracy of full scale (most common) or accuracy of reading (much less common) one is orders of magnitude more accurate but I’ll let you explain that to the class since you understand how calibration works so well. Also, tell you mom thanks for those pictures this morning.

Lol everyone’s fighting over the goddamn scale

Next time leave the bugs AND the scale out of it. Then we’ll stay focused

Honestly, you have to be a fucking idiot. As long as the object is exact, and the scale it doesn’t matter if it weighs 1g, 5g, or 100g. Tate that didn’t happen
A scale that weighs down to the g quite obviously.... Like one would need for steroids... Kind of obvious with the forum we're on, RIGHT?!?!?

and yet another valuable thread with good info devolves into nothing more than dumbass douche bag stupidity.
the meso way.

There's always one bad egg. I wouldn't ever say a thread is bad with knowledge in it just because of one guy with issues, whatever they may be.

My point is this- you don't calibrate a scale by placing a 5g weight on it, that just confirms the scales accuracy. The scale needs to be in calibration mode in order for you to calibrate the scale, and that's usually done with 100/200g calibration weights. Link me to your scale online, I want to see this thing.

No. No link. You’re really something else dude. Just drop it. Nobody else gives a fuck. It’s a $30 scale and if you put a nickel on it and it says 5 grams it means it’s good. It’s for fucking weed dude. It doesn’t have to be precise.

Would it make you feel better if I said “@balco is correct everyone”?

Well fuck that. You’re an ass and nobody will ever say anything good about you.

Btw, how’s mom? I can picture her. She’s had better days, put away one too many times wet, but she’s still pretty fucking hot. Tell her I said hi, again and I was thinking of her.

@balco All scales can have a different set weight for calibration. If your weighing up 1/8ths why would you check your scale using a 100 gram weight? Your going to check it with a known weight close to what you need to weigh.

Plus if you ever sold anything you would know a quick way to check a scale is to use a nickel or a dollar bill. If your out doing a buy and you need to check a scale real quick your going to use something readily available like a nickel or dollar bill. That way you know the scale your using isnt calibrated to fuck you out of 3grams every ounce.

Only a dick head would point out the use of the word calibration in this instance was technically wrong. You knew what he meant so your just trying to start a pissing match over something everyone understood. It's not like your comment helped clear up a miscommunication. Almost everyone that has ever moved weight has used a nickle or dollar to check (calibrate) a scale.

Plus it's not like those cheap scales are even coming with properly calibrated check weight. A properly calibrated check weight cost more than the scale most of us weigh out our raws with.
